My sister sent me lots of big sky pictures all in different moods, they are all from her back garden which is long and looks on to flat open countryside. I have been asked to paint three portrait landscapes of the skies. I have started with Columbius Clouds and the wild flower meadow she planted, not happy with the Ranch Fence but she wanted that to be included in each painting. I shall not use this as one of the three, not at all happy with the result, but it's a start.... A4 watercolour about 90 minutes..

Big build up of cumulonimbus charging away those cirrus whisps , eyes dragged down the path through a field of splendid flowers towards the tree.

Good morning everyone on what is looking to be a splendid morning in the dark and dangerous north

The wonder wheel of a fibreflour pizza made in a bread pan to go with a few leaves came in at 5.1 this am

It’s our eldest granddaughters birthday today - 16 - a socially distancing, rule of 6 meal has been organised. Masks and gel at the ready.

I decided to go all industrial yesterday so here are some steel works. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Not long until the bins need supervising yet again. First, koffy.

@geefull I really like those two pieces of art and the revelation of your musical talent adds to your aura of woderfulnessitude. @Muddy Cyclist the artwork is obviously to my taste and I hope the Docs can offer a way forward over the back pain. @Alien Aspie hug for the situation in which Miss Daisy places you (swapped from using position) and for the wistful remembrance of your time on The Aegean. Another upbeat meme @karen8967 and great fbg. @dunelm congratulations to your granddaughter, so many dreams and possibilities despite the efforts of the forces of darkness running the show just now. Have a great meal and family time. Hugs for those who dealt with or are dealing with dementia - @jjraak, @Krystyna23040, @lindisfel and @gennepher. Sorry if I missed you out. I'm still in Green Day mode whilst I figure out how much of a Bear Hunt LC eating "must" be for me. Quite elusive but I think I have a cunning plan which involves not "going native" To thine own self be true? No frost here as far as I can tell. Toodle pip chums and just imagine how far you could have advanced in life if you didn't pay tax.

Good Morning and 6 for me today.

Bright and a good frost here today. The Oaks and Beech on the hill and behind our house, have turned even more autumnal.

More rest and a phone call to doctors as back does not seem to be improving, probably a waste of time as it's back ache but will see what is suggested.

Make good use of time if you are able. Keep Safe.
Medics do seem to ignore back issues - never understood why - maybe they are taught that backs are very complex, don’t go there, “there be dragons”.

5.5 this morning. Am really tired this morning -:eek:f course all my own fault for working all day yesterday.

Off to the morning class in Norwich and then a 7hr break before the evening classes. So will come home and do a bit more admin but also get some rest and relaxation. The 7hr break was more by accident than design - but I am so pleased that my diary stayed clear today.

I suppose sufferers also feel awkward bothering them, 'it's just backache' syndrome I know I do and have not made the call, maybe just see how it goes.

Ah, that blooming tax. Wasn’t it at one time called “mail” - and a bit of backhanded protection money became ‘blackmail” - pretty sure that the system in place now still has a hint of that in there somewhere.

Not feeling too good this morning.
Stress indigestion? Return of IBS? Or simply too much chocolate, although if it was the latter should have been uncomfortable yesterday.

Forgot to post yesterday so will post yesterday's 3.6 and today's 4.0 now.

Ade made it to Rome yesterday and sent us a text that every thing went fine and he arrived safely.

Talking of musicality when he was at school Ade decided the Trombone was what he wanted to play and was really quite good his school orchestra performed in Liverpool RC Cathedral one of the pieces was Panis Angelicus which happened to be one of his Grandmother's favorites

Now the guitar is his instrument of choice also when he was up here last I could not get my ukulele back off him the entire time he was here.

Judith can play the guitar but not by ear give her some sheet music and away she goes because that's the way she was taught to play.

Been in Paddys Wigwam, John, quite a place to play music. D.

You are right about dementia. We looked after my father in law for 3 years until he died. It was really interesting that our dogs picked up he had dementia before we did.

It is really interesting how dogs are being trained to sniff out Covid 19. Their success rate is much better and find it at an earlier date than testing.
John Campbell jnr was discussing it on his youtube channel the other week.

They know that most backache spontaneously improves in a few weeks.
My eldest says, don't take Nsaids they will stop your kidneys working.

Problem is I have been prescribed Aspirin low daily dose since having stent grafted for AAA and the Iliac partially blocked off. To thin the blood in order avoid blood clots and strokes or other effects caused by blood clots wandering around the body.

So can't really avoid Nsaids completely.

Have tried to get GP to prescribe alternatives but so far no go.

You should be ok, John, that is just 75mgs.
Much less than the pain dose.
As you know one just has to balance the risks.
