Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who celebrate national bin day.

A 5.6 on that meter of misbehaving and mystery this morning.

Many thanks for all the best wishes over the blood letting yesterday all went well with not a drop splashing on to the floor.
Me and me's hope Mr Slim recovers soon @SlimLizzy and a special mention for @dunelm 's Mrs Miggins enjoy your day.
@ianpspurs today is national bin day, it is your collection day that is out of kilter, words must be had the the relevant authorities.
Here in Tilehurst Towers Mrs J is chattering away about menus, me and me's have no interest in what is being said, but me and me's know through bitter experience that attention better be applied quickly.
Enjoy your day and remember trying to act your age is as sensible as trying to act your house number.

good news it was all so organised.

hope results come back all on positive notes

and @dunelm
wonderful news of the 'hip op'.
best wishes for a smooth recovery.

oh and happy birthday to Mrs D

My neighbours almost laughed themselves into a serious medical condition at the very idea of we Brits "having words." Apparently we aren't especially intimidating in the big scheme of things - something to do with a deluded, bloated wind bag (pre-watershed content removed) - but feel free to come and try once this is all over.

Yes. Dubai don't do LC food but Abu Dhabi do:angelic: Maybe this will entice you? BTW, a word to the wise about that misleading avatar.
Wow - free vaccines (at a price squire) - who knew that vaccines would ever be used in this way - medical tourism.
Not keen on being an influencer now if I can’t use my fancy filters

@jjraak a little background reading before the big game Sunday and well into Monday. Ask the boys to go easy on you now time is catching up with you as it does with all gunslingers. Stay off the cocktails until late 4th quarter:angelic: Brady winning is the romantic story. I can't warm to Mahomes but he is a great athlete. So who redefined football - Pele? Maradona? and cricket - Sobers? Tendulkar?I think Lomu redefined rugby but Itoje may be making a grab for that spot - major establishment credentials and advertisers dream.
Edit: Surely Hamilton has redefined motor racing by now?

Oh @SlimLizzy

i do hope he makes a quick recovery.

can you say more of what ails him?
MrSlim does not like it talked about, mostly tries to ignore it, apart from some lifestyle changes.
He has CKD Stage three.
Has been stable for a few years, am worried he is deteriorating.

Oh @SlimLizzy that woukd be a worry for anyone.

I see now what you mean regarding other times and why this times concerns you so much.

Forgive the clumsiness of my previous reply.

more professional help then I could ever offer has clearly been sought & readily available,

Let me just offer hopes & prayers Mr S begins making a recovery.

And the hope your suspicions are wrong .and further medical help isn't needed on this occasion.

Take care & do keep us all up to date with any improvement, IF you possibly can.

X

Not sure that an attempt to be kind and helpful needs forgiveness, but you have it anyway and thank you for caring enough to try.

early riser today.

still can't get the numbers down as yet..
7.6..ho hum

on the plus side, been a lot more active
with right ankle strapped and in hiking boots, i can now mobilise
independent of crutches...Joy oh joy..

and yesterday, i even had the audacity to try out the scooter, all ok..so off i went.
drove to nephews to collect some bits from my stay, then onto supermarket.

the independence of my own mode of travel was exhilarating and the pleasure of looking at the food
on offer in the supermarket and deciding i want 'that'
can not be overstated.

as an aside.. a few weeks out of circulation and what a difference in the store.

everyone, i mean everyone in a mask, shop was fairly busy too.

off to cook my own breakfast, :D
of simple pleasures is life made joyful...
Yay for getting some independence back :)

good afternoon all :)

4.7 today

shopping trip today so out early into the cold breeze and it was surprisingly quiet today. I delivered the shopping to Mum this afternoon because mr gee had to wait in in case a delivery arrived. Then it didn't. Never mind, it's now timed for tomorrow so he's not too unhappy :)

Bin day was negotiated successfully and the green bin is now as clean as the green bin gets ;)

Hope your day is treating you well :)

@SlimLizzy - hugs to mr slim, very worrying for you both. I hope the situation improves quickly.

@Krystyna23040 - hope the vaccination went smoothly :)

@gennepher - cats paw blossom, very effective :D a very pleasing picture and I like the way you have done the sun :)

@jjraak - well done, glad you are enjoying your new tastes of freedom :joyful:

@dunelm - Many Happy Returns to mrs Miggins :)
I love your picture of the birds, a real conversation piece :joyful:
and a fine tribute to a fine gentleman.

@Muddy Cyclist - La Belle Catherine is a pleasing reel isn't it but I should imagine it's complex to get in synch. ? :)

art bit - I bought some silicon tipped things (made for nail artists I think :hilarious: ) to try getting resist on more evenly, works, sort of.

Inspired by the landscape work of E.A.Verdine.

Good morning everyone from the cold and wet inside of an otter’s pocket here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of ‘what’s cooking in that Ninja’ came in at 4.8 this am

My mother’s hip op dance routine went well so it’s not three days of intensive physio and then, all being well, home with a list of exercises and daily visits from the physio.
It’s Mrs Miggins’ birthday today and strangely enough it’s her twin sisters also. We usually go out for the day but I have the makings of an afternoon tea and one of those teapots for one sitting atop a cup and saucer - it’s all a bit Laura Ashley.

@Muddy Cyclist - Great Beech avenue looking extremely good - Lady Belle Catherine - I am pretty sure that my mother used to Clog to that one. Sounds a bit French/Cajun?
@geefull - thank you, your usual sort of thing is always so well and soothingly good - a great pleasure to see.
@gennepher - A super and well composed Cherry Blossom - I like the petals falling away from the tree - lazy days - I agree, they really are not doing nothing as some may suppose. Some of my cherished moments have been sitting on top of a hill or mountain and - well, just sitting on top of a hill or mountain.
@SlimLizzy - sorry to hear that Mr Slim is having a bad time of it - hugs abound, hope he turns a corner very soon.

Magpies - Pica Pica - quite a few in the park so let’s have a go - lots of bird looking shapes on my backing paper yesterday morning - some still in the early stages of evolving from dinosaurs. Anyhow, hope everyone has a splendid bin day. Koffy calls and other sounds await.

Good news about your mom doing well. Happy double birthdays to the duo.

Those birds have evolved very well in my opinion. Evolution gets its skates on.

Another good painting from yourself and experimenting with resist. Good string cheery colours, brightened up my day.

Lady Belle Catherine is proving interesting but today I spoke to the guy who will be stitching all the different instruments together. I have been having trouble keeping up when picking out the melody on my Mandolin and never manage to get to the end without making a mistake, frustrating, BUT I need not worry as he says just stop and the recording then record that bit again separately and he can correct it by piecing the correct bit in when he mixes all the parts, magic, the wonders of virtual recordings.:)
