What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Fbg 6.9

Gave up on sleep last night. Cat couldn't settle. I was going to put him in bathroom so I could get sleep, but I felt mean. So I didn't...
I went and wrote postcards and stuff in the other room. Came back to bed at 5am. Cat had finally fallen asleep. So sneaked back into bed. But cat woke up. I should have gone to sleep on the couch...
I hadn't put a dressing gown on when I was writing postcards, I should've done. I hadn't realised it was colder last night. So I put electric blanket on. Cat went back to sleep under electric blanket over my feet, which I am now trying to extract without waking him so I can post my postcards.
It looks as though it is going to be a beautiful sunny day today.
And I am not wasting it sleeping!

Hugs for lack of sleepiness.

Winner for the art capturing that moment I know so well. Stop, look and listen to the world and then find yourself lost in its beauty.

Good morning everyone from a breezy morning of promised sunshine here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of ham and eggs followed by a hot cross bun came in at 5.5 this am

There are rumors of a bright, sunny day today - not seen just yet but the sky is clear of clouds. We have the girl in the bubble today. She has a trike pram contraption with quite large wheels so we will be heading to the beach later this morning.

Todays B&W snap on the box brownie is a tree and some as yet unidentified birds flying in for lockdown easing. Hope that everyone has a splendid day. Time for koffy.

Good Morning and 5.9 for me today. Under 6 at last evenif only just, needs to be lower.

Foggy here a proper pea souper. No industry here and so mist not fog.

My cousin announced they are dropping in for a cuppa in our garden this afternoon so I hope the weather delivers what is promised. Feels strange and a little uneasy having someone drop in even though it's allowed. In my mind the Law might say it's OK but Covid is still very much about. Will arrange our garden furniture with Soicial distancing in mind, now where is that tape measure?

Keep safe enjoy the warmth if it comes your way.

Whispering won't hide those carbs.:)

I don't remember my box brownie taking pictures that well, do you have an updated model? Great tree and birds.

Enjoy the beach.

Hi all,
Will be nice to get some dry weather this week but sun not expected until pm and temp to max out at 13 deg.C.
Then by thursday night frosts likely, so will be surprised if there is heat wave here.

Big tide today just after lunch, must give it a couple of hours this pm.
It will be cutting early evening beach walks short in you area Dunelm for any tea time strolls.
Have a great day every one.
D.

5.4 this morning. We have booked our slot at Sheringham Park today - another one of our favourite places. I am so looking forward to it and the cafe is open for takeaways so I will get my coffee after the walk.

Well thank you and I appreciate your appreciation.

But for me and probably other artists, it's that eternal progression drive and at the moment I ain't progressing. I need to work harder.
I absolutely recognise that "drive" completely. Fuelled me as a teacher and batsman and has carried into dealing with T2. It is absolutely no use anyone else saying relax it is all good - it just doesn't work. That inner voice is awful loud and insistent. Good man.

Whatever colour team is running the show this is a disgrace. Not every child has a bank of mum and dad to ensure they own their own home. Homes fit for and affordable by heroes please not big pats on the back for politicians who were rescued by these guys. If you can convince me how Brexit helps that I'll be amazed. It is a giant folly, irrelevant to our problems. Oh, have a good day folks.

Relax ? I DON'T do it !

Wasn't that by
Ian Goes to Hollywood ?

Agree.
We are who are.
Diamonds or Rubies.
Only the settings change.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, another hectic day here and there in TilehurstTowers.

A 6.0 this morning.

Misplaced my upstairs reading glasses yesterday and am totally flummoxed as where they are.
Now I must go and take medication using my downstairs reading glasses, I bet I forget myself and leave my downstairs glasses upstairs, then spend time I don't have wandering round downstairs looking for my downstairs glasses.

Remember the stay's and have a great day all.

I'd love to be pitched by a relaxation techniques salesperson. I suspect I know who would need the product more by the end.:angelic: What the bleep is mindfulness? If you enjoy mindfulness and benefit from it all good. From T2 management to the rest of life it is all N=1 within the law of the land - which we have seen is very individual at times.
