What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Question around 2nd Vaxx. Does it have to be same arm only my new Swipey is due same day in same arm as previous Jabbo.? Probably not the best combination if it could be avoided that would be ideal.

I had mine on the other arm because I had a tetanus jab on my first vaccine arm a few days before my second jab (after my mishap on the stairs). They didn't ask me which arm the first vaccine had gone in.

Thanks and how is your head now? I hope Sheringham was sunny today. Quite a nice Hipster chic coffee shop last time we were there. Wonder if it survived? Seemed better suited in Southwold to me.

Head is OK. The nurse is going to have another go at taking the remaining stitches out on Thursday. She only got two of them out last week.

Sheringham Park was lovely. We didn't go into Sheringham itself but just walked through the Park. Next week it is Blickling Hall to hopefully see the bluebells.

good evening all :)

4.6 today

internet and phone are still a bit hit and miss so not much posting.

Apparently there is still a split in the BT cable close to where the original damaged area is about 250 m that way < --- up the road. Now the water board have dug up the road about 150 m that way ---> down the road :hilarious: so we had low pressure water supply all day yesterday :sorry:

Other than that it's a lovely sunny day:D

Hope your day is treating you well :)

Hello from a bright but cool part of East Anglia cum Colorado/Mid West/US of A. Swipey, integrity installed by Stanley's boy, claimed my fbg to be 4.4 and all bills paid legally. It also claimed I had been a Prima Ballerina and Olympic Gold Medallist in Women's pole vault. Remarkably like Stan's lad that one. I hope you enjoy a good sleep after that disturbed night @gennepher. The LHOTP sounds far too much fun for a man of your temperament @dunelm - take it easy fella. I hope Mrs M C has no reaction to her jab @Muddy Cyclist but great news that it is being done. Dog psychologist DIL and No 1 son walked our dogs yesterday. Pups starting to attempt to jump into cars. My RR may be a tad daunting. Electrician quoted for some lights and a dead fan in en suite - good price I felt. However, it's steak today so rough with smooth I suppose. Casual promises at altars come back to bight ya - beware all singletons.;)
Thank you @ianpspurs
:)

I hope BT and Water Board sort it out soon....

6.30am FBG 5.0
BBQ with friends in the afternoon, stuffed with steak, chicken and coleslaw. Small bread roll. (Homemade, irresistible. Laddo had made a half size one specially for me) much vino was consumed. This is how life used to be...
@Muddy Cyclist hope MrsMC has no reaction to jab.
@dunelm really like your cranes/storms.
@Mrs T 123 varifocals take a bit of getting used to. Be careful. I have missed step on a ladder because of this, resulting In a nasty fall. Which could have been a very nasty fall down the stairs.
Thank you for your crane/stork comments @SlimLizzy and good to read that life is slowly moving in the right direction

I guess it can be either deltoid.
I would think the particular arm would just be the preference of the vaccine stations orientation but that wouldn't be written in stone but just make the vaccinators job easier.

Fbg 6.9

Cat went doolally last night, hence another sleepless night and banging head.
I am trying to sleep and he is back combing my hair into a bird's nest...
No amount of removal from my head could stop him, he was stronger than I was...even tried shutting him in another room but he got out before I did...gave up...went back to bed. About half an hour later I wake up to a fox (cat) fur stole round my neck. I could not find the beginning, nor the end.

Then I looked out in the garden. It was lit up magically like almost daylight with silver slivers down all the trees. It was like fairyland. I got up, managed to get the fur stole off my neck, and put the blanket over him so I could make my escape to the kitchen...

Made a cuppa and went into the front garden, forgot I had minimum clothes on (but I was covered), because I was trying to get away from the alive fur stole.

That was when I saw what looked a a pretty near full moon. So, I sat on John's and Meg's bench with cuppa and watched the beautiful moon. I just hope no cctv cameras were looking at me...

It wasn't me crazy in the full moon...

Came back in. Another cuppa. Got back in bed. Not sleepy at all now, and it has barely gone midnight. So got iPad to do today's digital painting. The fur stole emerges from under the blanket and sits looking at me.So portrait of Popeye this morning. He was very good and modelled beautifully.

So, tried for sleep again. But cat had other ideas. I gave up.

I watched the most stunning pre dawn sky, but dawn and sunrise were pathetic. It is now a beautiful stunning day outside albeit 1 C.

Decided this cat must be affected by the full moon. He is climbing where he shouldn't. He had a go at climbing the curtains this morning (used to be his favourite occupation). He climbs half way, stops, looks at me as if to say 'See,I can still do this'. I rescued some ornaments....

Another two nights of all this I think...

I hope he doesn't go into werewolf mode tonight...I might lock myself in the potting shed...

So here is the digital painting of an innocent elderly cat. His girlfriend visited twice yesterday....

And this walking zombie is now going into the back garden and see what chaos the badger caused in the early hours. It looks like my parasol was involved. It is on its side, and the fabric a bit shredded...

An very unusually high fbs of 6.6 this morning. I did wash hands again and double check it so it was correct.

Had a normal under 20g carb day but I suspect that it had a lot to do with the sudden almost one inch loss from around my waist and half pound of weight loss overnight. Maybe I lost some liver fat which caused the sugar rush. All really interesting.

if it was because of lost liver fat it is probably a very good sign.
