What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

2-mad today:
Brunch was 3 x M&S ‘The Pork Chipolata’ 2 fried eggs and mushrooms.
Dinner- chicken breast stuffed with cream cheese, garlic & chopped sunblush tomatoes, wrapped in prosciutto. Salad. 1 glass red. Spoonful of h/m yoghurt and about 10g 100% chocolate. IMG_1012.jpg

Bacon and egg for breakfast.
Some of the steak left from last evening but I ate all the onion and mushrooms. This day's 2nd meal will be something with that steak and maybe some more onions. Mushrooms are all gone.
Medical centre at lunch time to get my legs rebandaged for another week. I hope they make a better job of it this week - last time they started slipping straight away and haven't really done the trick this week.

Coffee and cream
Bacon, sausage, 2 eggs, tomato and mushroom.
Gouda cheese, coleslaw and wafer chicken! Over ate....One blessing carbs still low.

2 sqs hm lc bakewell with cream
Now I know about the crispy cheese omelette ( thanks @MrsA2 ) I need to know this one please.
I don’t often crave desserts, but this one was an old favourite, many years ago.

Today no breakfast, just black decaff coffee.
lunch salmon with mayonnaise, more black decaff coffee
Dinner chicken and veg stirfry. Water.
will have a small amount of yogurt before bedtime.

Lukewarm savoy cabbage leafs filled with a mixture of hard boiled eggs, onion, spring onion, shredded savoy cabbage, smoked trout fillets (Lidl) and mayo.
Vey tasty!
Good thing I prepared my meal right before getting a message that the person who was to come help me pack for my holiday won't come because of covid or I likely wouldn't have eaten at all.
Stress levels have now gone from last week's ridiculous but mixed with a happy anticipation to plain debilitating, causing my brain to refuse to function.
Who doesn't love an anxiety disorder?!

Still, only two more nights and I'll be on my way, which will likely solve the problem! :)

I cook it in a 7 "sq tin and cut into 16.,and it seems to cook quicker than the recipe so keep an eye on it.
Recipe says cut into 9
It's pricy one but oh so good.
They do a version with a marizapn base I haven't tried yet...but I don't tell you that!

B small yog with seeds
L cold chicken breadt ready cooked from M&S very disappointing as very chewy. One of their nut bars. Supposedly only 6 g carbs per bar but always spikes me a little, not too much but more than 6 g should.
D: frittata with chorizo and the veg left in the bottom of the fridge, 1 small courgette, 2 spring onions, half a green pepper and 2 stalks of celery. Was quite nice actually.
Mid evening a surprise glass of prosecco at a meeting as 5 people had birthdays this week! Well, if I must join in, I will

I bought half a pig from a local farm then realised I had no room in my freezer so I’ve had to beg space in other people’s while I use up what’s in mine.
Last night therefore was pheasant stroganoff with broccoli. I’d forgotten my neighbour gave us a brace of pheasant a while back.

Working backwards, lunch was h/m yoghurt with seeds
Breakfast was cheese omelette with turmeric and ginger sauerkraut. Lots of black coffee.

Hope the happy anticipation wins over the plain debilitating and you can get packed up and on your way without any unexpected issues. Bon voyage.

Tea and then pills - since I've realised I can take them long before eating - other than the Metformin.
Breakfast will be bacon and egg again. That will be in about an hour from now - just before my cleaner should be arriving.
Later I will have a lemony salmon fillet with spinach.

Have a very happy holiday Antje. Sadly the weather isn't looking too promising but you can have fun all the same and the pleasure of meeting up with old friends.

Morning all. I have my American granddaughter staying for a few days happily. She travelled back with me to keep an eye on me! Today we are having roast turkey, cauli mash with cheese, steamed broccoli and cabbage. For tea tonight we are having egg mayo and cress on lettuce leaves. I put 4 eggs on to boil and went into the lounge. Next thing there is a bang and then another. On investigating, I had forgotten the eggs and the pan had boiled dry and the eggs had exploded!! This time I'll stay in the kitchen!

So lovely to have your granddaughter home with you. She'll be thinking you really do need looking after with those exploding eggs!

Lunch - sausage left over from the previous night - mixed green salad
Tea / Dinner - 2 small new potatoes, minced beef, fried mushrooms, peas
