Successful day yesterday for you @dunelmGood morning everyone from another damp squib of a start here in the dark and dangerous north. The ninky nonks are already up and breakfasted and are now busy painting pictures. Their elder sister is still snoozing but it won’t be long until they hit on the idea of pestering her. Willow’s party went splendidly, no breakouts of fights over toys, no sticking fingers into the cake (or licking the icing) and thank you for your best wishes. Went to a table top charity fund raiser yesterday morning and won a nice bottle of single malt for the price of a £1 ticket. Mrs Miggins managed to buy some over priced hand made cards and candles, and we made a donation in hard cash for a cup of tea and a biscuit - as you do, payback for such a splendid tombola prize. All proceeds to the local food and clothing bank. Art bit, that’s as much details as needed I think. Have a wonderful day if you can. We will be waving farewell to the grandchildren at about lunchtime but first, some koffy.

Another splendid piece of art. I wonder if you could make a copy of the ocean brush and then fiddle with the streamline (stabilization) and the wet mix - might work.Fbg 6.9
Wildlife Trail Nighttime Camera.
Cat, Midnight, is watching the two sets of foxes eyes in the bushes very closely...
Rained all day, yet again.
Creative is a digital painting in Procreate. I used the ocean brushstroke to try and create the waterfall/river. It is not quite fluid enough, I think.
Time for a cuppa, and see how Noah's Ark is getting on...

Thank you @gennepher - some pop out colour will be applied later todaySuccessful day yesterday for you @dunelm
The detail definitely gives a 3D effect, but when you add the colour it really pops out...
Thank you very much @dunelmAnother splendid piece of art. I wonder if you could make a copy of the ocean brush and then fiddle with the streamline (stabilization) and the wet mix - might work.
Thanks @ianpspursGood, bad, indifferent or all of the preceding morning everyone. Wet start here and decidedly not scorchio though not as cold as some November 20th starts. Last Sunday of the liturgical year also known as the Feast of Christ the King since 1925. Here it is the 10th birthday of our first grandchild. Three dwelling places - one home (not this one), the four darkest days of my life, nothing to do with him, but so many rich blessings and precious memories with and from him in that time. Family days planned for a few members as have we. Four generations here for a meal so heating needed for a 92.876 ish and 1.4 year old - £££s for heating. Later we are invited to process to the young chap’s abode. Thanks for the creative @gennepher and that wonderfully developing art @dunelm. Yesterday sounds like a perfect day without the cake smash - what are they all about? Who knew kimchi, avocado and mackerel in olive oil was such a revelation for breaking an 18 hr fast? Family day here with guests from 92.9 to 1.4 so heating probably needed. Later we are invited to the abode of the birthday boy. Post England All Blacks we watched a Christmas film as we usually do. Simple blessings but oh so special. Have a good day, World cup watching or not. .
As a fan, I love love love the Euros & World Cup.Simple blessings but oh so special. Have a good day, World cup watching or not.
I'm no fan, so wouldn't have watched it anyway, but you're absolutely right in my opinion. As a fan, I love love love the Euros & World Cup.
But out of conscience & principles, I've decided on a personal boycott of this year's no matter what this chap says
FIFA Boss attacks West
Too few FIFA officials in jail, to my mind.
Others cheated out of hosting, fraud, bribery & corruption on an industrial scale (shame on FIFA )
Not to mention the human rights abuses & behaviours to foreign workers....
Enjoy, if watching sure many will,
But me and 2 nephews blanking this year's no matter what
Likely won't make any difference, but if viewing figures are down, advertisers will have massive input in THIS never happening again in such a dishonest & corrupt way.
The world cup.. when they're might be snow on the windowsill....an abomination.
It is an interesting moral dilemma and Infantino has made things a whole lot worse with that ridiculous rant. I'm not sure any major sporting event has ever been devoid of politics, corruption and or repression of the host population. All amped up so that Putin's Ukraine war is painted as abhorrent compared to the noble regime changes and atrocities by "our side." Football in Europe is now all about Champions League rather than International team anyhow. Now there's a whole other can of worms over most of the same issues. As a fan, I love love love the Euros & World Cup.

Have to agree there, as well, Ian.I is an interesting moral dilemma and Infantino has made things a whole lot worse with that ridiculous rant. Indeed.I is an interesting moral dilemma and Infantino has made things a whole lot worse with that ridiculous rant.
