What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

You are flipping kidding!!!

Actually I have seen history doctored before. It was about 10 years ago. I won't say exactly what it was, but I had been there when a photo was taken. It wasn't of me, or by me, nothing to do with me. But I noticed on Wickedpedia the addition of a prominent person to say he was there in the photo. I complained, saying he had been photoshopped on to the photo. Shortly after, the correct photo minus the photoshopped person replaced the doctored photo, but with the words saying this person hadn't been in the photo and that the inclusion of him had been an accident, but that he had been at the event...actually he hadn't been there, but I didn't bother any further with it.

I disbelieve everything @jjraak

And, by the way has anyone been sent a spare copy in their chat app feed?
I have, last night. I didn't believe it, so I checked. It was the same.
An incredible work of descriptive fiction, and that is just the first few pages...
That will be a considerable loss to the pocket...
A most interesting tale

Is it possible we might get a hint or two as to who it was.
Very intriguing. Mmhh

Btw not sure I fully understand what you mean by "copy of chat" you mention at end of post ?

The fox's night with cats
A ginger cat who has been sleeping under the tarpaulin at the back of the swing comes out stretching...
Cat Jade who is eating her cat biscuits on the swing in the beginning...
Cat Midnight on his patrols...
And Foxy Loxy who always seems to be on his own, mooching around under the swing, or checking my bedroom door which is full length glass, or he disappears to the tip of my garden where I find the soil dug over for worms...this night Foxy Loxy was in my garden for well over 8 hours...
And finally, cat Jade sets off the wind chimes...

Creative is using ZenBrush3 to create what I hope look like water effects. No hidden Midnights or other cats today. I will save those for my tree type paintings.

Time for a nap.
Been awake since early.
But first a cuppa...

I love the fluidity of this piece, smashing stuff

Morning all from a soggy giant pig farm (major water pollutant notwithstanding) protected by USAF, sold as own label but we know. we know. Probably best they protect us after last night's events. Sadly, quite the metaphor for the last decade or so. @Krystyna23040 good news on the pre-rain dog walk and you taking your breaks. @SlimLizzy hug for both of you. @dunelm thanks for sharing the art which is developing nicely to my mind but you artists often seem to be less satisfied with what your hands produce compared to what your mind wanted to deliver. Very much the vibe of these threads - basic, minimal chatty or this full fat version. Best wishes for hospital visit - actually in a building, cabin or tent whatever. The deception of no crisis is wearing a tad thin for anyone who actually uses or works in the NHS. @lindisfel hug and winner for yesterday. @Annb hug for all the ups, downs and dosage issues. @alf_Josiah similar. @gennepher thanks for the creative and I can definitely see the water theme. Laundry day here and indoor steps. Give today your best shot; fake it 'till you make it (or even if you don't) is the zeitgeist so it'll be a great day whatever.
Update: Last week's retinal scan revealed no damage so thanks be to God and perhaps some, through gritted teeth, to Elsie
Thanks @ianpspurs. I think the dissatisfaction comes when the pen does it’s own thing and you find that it really is not mightier than the sword when you try and stab yourself with it in frustration.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and those who dream of free flying, no, no I repeat flying, not lying I leave that to politicians and the media.

A resounding 6.6 on that meter this morning, I was expecting a low reading because I was shaking, but nope a level in my safety range. Perhaps I was cold, next time I shall wear some clothes, naked doing a blood sugar reading was how I thought you did it, well in me, me’s and myself defence I weigh wearing no clothes.

Here in Tilehurst Towers the day is spoken for and has started, LFT test done and reported, breakfast consumed, next will be medication and later today plinky plonky lesson, then home to prepare the bins for national bin day tomorrow.

Ah tomorrow I shall be late reporting in, a routine liver ultrasound, this time I hope they warm up the gel, better not mention mention the flatulent sounding gel container or the accompanying masked black looks.

Stay safe, stay warm and dry.

The morning sky didn't live up to its promise. By the time it was daylight, the grey had taken over and was weeping all over the Island as far as I could see. Wet and cold - very much like gennepher's image today from what I can see through rain stroked windows. Odd, though, the grey sky has a very blue tinge to it. Not sure how it manages that. Blue clouds?

Just given up on my cleaner coming today. She did say she would come this morning so I haven't got on with anything. I've put the little heater on in the kitchen to get some heat into the place and will now go and put everything back on the floors that I had cleared by 7 am. I'm sure she has a good reason but I would prefer if she would remember to let me know what is happening.

This week I am trying to sort out one of my kitchen cupboards. It's actually an IKEA wardrobe and it is a useful cupboard with some shelves but part of the storage is baskets on inferior runners which collapse from time to time. Three shelves have done this and I've so far managed to empty one of them, wash everything on it and put it back together. Might manage the second one today. The one I've done is all small pots/souffle dishes; the next one is larger baking dishes and bowls. I just have too much stuff! One of the things I found was a pair of stainless steel balti bowls. I don't remember when or where I got them, or why. I've never made a balti curry in my life! Charity shop for those, I reckon. Probably for quite a few of the little pots and dishes as well.
A great take on life and always good to do a bit of mis-direction on things purloined from curry houses. I’m with you on too much stuff in the kitchen department - I am still passing things on as I come across them if they haven’t been used in a while .

On the wildlife nighttime camera...

Cat Jade's peaceful night & Fox (Foxy Loxy)

Because I am deaf, and didn't have my cochlear hearing processor on when I did this video, I never noticed the app put on some music with it. So thank your lucky stars it wasn't some terrible marching music...

Creative is a winter painting in ZenBrush3
Midnight is easy to do as a hidden cat, but notJade, Jade has white on her top lips and a white chin. Fiddling with her face for ages. And I am not sure currently if I have done them too small. I'll find out once I post it. So fingers crossed...

Time for a long nap before I start my day again...I was awake most of the night...

Have your best day you can...

Smashing - the yellow and green work so well

Nope, no hint will be given @jjraak

Er, was I too obtuse...erm ...the full copy of 'Spare'. A full genuine pdf copy landed in one of my chat apps. It was being passed on. Hence I implied, it was going to hit a certain person's pocket very hard. I had no idea something like that could happen on day of publication, unless someone had a very big axe to grind...

Chat app feed?
Obviously I don't say online the particular chat apps I use, for privacy.

This is the answer I have just given @jjraak if this makes it clearer @dunelm

And had most probably planned this in advance...for whatever their nefarious purpose...

Good morning everyone and it’s another day in paradise here in the dark and dangerous north. Got to love heart surgeons - it appears that I have a ‘whoosh’. I know, technical descriptor for the bewildered about the noise made by a leaky aortic valve as it closes. I can’t hear it - perhaps the guy is masquerading and is really some old sound engineer from early Doctor Who episodes. Anyhow, nothing to worry about as long as I keep taking the pills. He didn’t specify which ones so will stick to the ones handed over from the back of a BMW in the film Twin Town. My newly published book ‘Ersatzteil’. I didn’t write it myself of course but left it to Rosenheim Poltergeist, a famously unknown in these parts ghost writer. Its mainly about how not to complain when the change in your pocket jangles less noisily than the change inside your head with a small chapter about ploughing fields with the older generation. I will be about £2.45 in your nearest charity shop next week. Art bit - a bit more. Have a dinger of a day, must go, koffy to take charge of.

Morning all from a combination of a nursing home and sick bay here in Pig-n-Plane Central where it is dry and bright outside. Tea-n-toast run done and stairlift appropriated for hauling huge laundry basket upstairs. The management are ok with that. When JKP arises to staff the sick bay I'm off for a drive-thru blood test - should soon have enough points for a free coffee and doughnut. @gennepher thanks for the creative which made me rethink , in a good way, my attitude to some wintry scenes. Thank you. @alf_Josiah hope the procedure goes as smoothly as possible. Cold or hot gel for Mr Floppy on Jan 23rd isn't the issue just copious amounts and the right size camera. @dunelm thanks for sharing the latest development of your art and humorously recounting your close encounter of the heart surgeon kind. Have whatever kind of day you can manage with the ingredients and talents with which you have been blessed, Me? I hope to both perceive and know what things I ought to do, and also have grace and power faithfully to fulfil the same

I don't like being manipulated and there seems to be no sides of issues free of it.

Take for example the excess deaths issue, this has been happening for at least six months as reported by John Campbell and no one was listening then.

Well clearly it is not due solely to the health system in this country, because other countries have a higher rate of a excess deaths in the developed world and these countries have a variety of funding models.

We have a health guy who doesn't listen, who has is own narrative. Where are we going with this when the rich don't want to fund the poor's health or even fund the feeding of children?

Hi Dunelm I guess your wheel is undershot?

Doppler blood flow measurement is very noisy when the heart beats, rather similar in nature to the passing steam engine blowing its whistle as it goes by.
These skilled guys can pick up all sorts of anomalies modulating the usual Doppler sound.
