What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Wildlife Camera
Midnight objects to Ginger Cat on the swing....

Creative is of an Ox-Eye daisy started painting in Procreate and fartnarkled in Distressed FX.

The camera in the kitchen to watch the cat food, was running last night. I have just looked at the SD card. One minute the tray of cat food was there at the end of the previous clip, but it was gone before the next clip began recording. So, in the 3 or 4 seconds, or whatever it takes for the camera to begin recording, the thief had been and gone, and I had a 3 minute clip of nothing .

Time for a cuppa and a nap.

Have your best day.

Suspect, raffles the cat is now working in your area :hilarious:

Hi @Krystyna23040

I might not have understood that correctly, but having gotten our personal data, back up & running on various versions of Laurens company phones (apple) for her personal use, and various incarnations of droid for me, I wonder if you use the cloud ?

All I do for both is back up old phone, follow new phone instructions, Insert old SIM, then allow the install/back up to process from cloud to phone.

It can take a while but it moves all my old messages, WhatsApps, contacts, passwords etc over to our new phones, usually within the hour, if not much sooner.

Of course if you are buying new phones and using that assigned number, the process might be different.

At least it's all done, and new phones ready to whizz around it's daily tasks ....

(As if any phone of yours would ever be different from your modus operandi. ;) )
I think what made it more difficult was that the SIM broke and I had to have a new SIM as well as a new phone. A lot of apps transferred with pins, but some didn't - like the email accounts and fitbit. Have just noticed Holland and Barrett account hasn't either.

Another problem was that their Wi-Fi was playing up as they were backing up/transferring so many phones. I think everyone in Norwich had decided that yesterday was a good day to get new phones.

My old phone was also playing up - maybe because I had dropped it.

Completely understandable.

Went with a hug for the hassle,
But it was close run thing with your view on Norwich phone day extravaganza .. :hilarious:

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentleman and those fully under the thumb of their own personal lord and master.

Blood sugars this morning were a 5.0

I had today fully planned, another motorcycle ride, a bit of woodworking and plinky plonky practice before my lesson tomorrow, oh and maybe a slow walk.
As the expression goes “ the best laid plans of mice and men “ . Mrs J had other ideas, the bike ride and woodworking are confined to the bin and the rest of my plans are marginal. Hey ho

Appeasement rules today and if allowed the worm will turn in the future.

Stay safe all.

So I got up and went for a 30 min. fasted walk today, in hope that I will get a good reading when I come home.

Nope.

FBG today was 8.1
Hello
I have noticed that my blood sugars are always raised after a period of exercise, not settling to a lower level for quite some time.

Well done on posting irrespective of your level, there are so many factors that effect blood sugars, many people me, me’s and myself included just cannot predict only react.

Keep up your good work.

Hi everyone. I'm MIL sitting and trying to make the new tablet device function so no idea what will appear. I didn't want to go to the beach or rabbit farm and MIL was too tired to go anywhere before big family meal , English and Welsh, later. 2 granddaughters ill overnight so lots of washing and isolating. this place has a washing machine, teapot and coffee maker. Cinema was good but meal after wasn't. Our table of 8 had 50% of meals deducted for various reasons. Luckily I only ordered black tea with slices of lemon. The lemon came after I'd drunk the tea..Against everything I usually do I have taken photos but may not work out how to crop and attach on this toy. N0 1 son forgot too bring my Chrobookk from our base. Have yourself a good day

11.0 at 3.30 am. 10.1 at 8.30. 10.4 at 11.30. Breakfast then, which stabilised it at least. Still in the 10's though. Had RyVita with breakfast so that could have pushed it up but didn't.

Zoom exercise class yesterday. I didn't think I'd overdone it but, as before, can barely move today. Taken 2 lots of pain killers, which have possibly taken a bit off the edge, but not much because I am tottering around when i have to move and can't bear weight on my knees. Daresay it will sort itself out in a day or so.

Chromebook arrived with more washing so these may or may not be photos of the view from The Big House. Don't do anything for me but MIL has been coming for >70 years, is full of stories and likes to talk about them. She has enjoyed sitting on the decking and reminiscing. Presumably the point of me being here is to allow that and for God to knock off a few of my rough edges.

That is a very beautiful location. I don't know about you but we have a heat wave here and so you and mother-in-law staying at home base is probably the best idea today

The sun is warm but there is and has been each day a cool breeze. I'm wearing a rugby shirt when inside and if I go outside a thick hoodie. Enjoy the sun. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I can see how people would feel this merits the description.

The tech savvy nighttime cat biscuit (and tray as well ) stealer has struck again. And doesn't appear on my trail camera. The cat tray of food is there one minute, and in less than a blink of an eye, it is gone.

My daughter is coming to stay next month, and she'll be sleeping in the next room. I don't think she'll be happy with half the countryside coming into the bungalow at night.

I need to change something...

Wildlife cameras.
Two very short (much less than a minute clips) on the Magpie in daytime.

Magpie on the Swing - Whereabouts are those darn cats? (32 secs)

Magpie - Is that a camera? Is this my best side? (15 secs)

Creative was complicated to create.
Original photo was of my blueberry flowers from a month ago (the bush is full of berries now).
Then I tried to do a painting of it.
Failed miserably. But saved all the different versions.
Tried the original photo through various photo apps.
Failed miserably because none got the essence of that blueberry flower.
Tried using double exposure feature in Snapseed, putting double exposure over double exposure of all these different versions, and altering the settings for each double exposure.
Still failed.
Then I had the idea of photographing my bedroom light above me (yes I am in bed, it is the middle of the night, and I am not sleeping), and tried it as a double exposure. Didn't work well, so I saved the original photo of all the double exposures, put the photo of the light on first, and then the other double exposures on top.
And here is the finished product.
Unusually for me, I am pleased with what I managed to create.
Because it had the essence of what I wanted, and I was finally tired enough to go to sleep....

Have your best day.
A cuppa is next, and maybe a quick nap (to give me some energy....)

I got sunburn yesterday despite being covered, only face and hands showing, and they had loads of sun cream. And I was wearing my wide brimmed sun hat hat!

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all variations on a theme……..of Paganini. Bet you thought I’d gone all woke.

Blood sugars this morning were 5.1 I didn’t say thank you to the devious meter.

Busy old day so far and will be for the rest of the day, we have the grandchildren for the day, me me’s and myself have a plinky plonky lesson later today, Mrs J who is up and about has PLANs, my plinky plonky lesson will be a safe time. I Should be finishing off a bit of Hans Zimmer and moving on to a little Wagner, Ride of the Valkyries.

Now the indoor rain cabinet is calling, plinky plonky practice, breakfast and medication, no not all at once thankfully.

Stay safe all
