What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

At a couple of the other forums I've frequented there was a thread like this one where we all sorta checked in each day, with our first cup of coffee or tea, and reported our fasting or waking blood glucose level and some short comment about whether we're ok with it or if not - why not?...

It worked well as a sort of 'first thread to check' each morning and post to.

I'll start.

This morning was a 5.6mmol for me. That's about normal for me

Was 7.8 this morning which is ok for me but I can range between 4.4 & 13or14 or even higher with no reason - I try to stay between 8.8 an 9 b4 bed so have no idea what’s going on

5.8 day before yestetday had dinner at an indian restUrant
Last night are crudities with a dip had half of partners fish cake 20.8 this morning. Mskes mo zense

I’d say that was great result and mouthwatering. @MissMuffett sending hugs and agree that is not right. Morning All 7.2 today but half an hour late waking up so I can dream I might have been in the stickies at the usual time. Take care everybody.

Haha I'm surprised mine was as low as it was. Last night was fully loaded fried with lots of sauces and buffolo chicken. Followed by apple pie and custard. Was worth it though long time since I've said sod and ate exactly what I was craving

Hi and welcome. Did you only test the once? I would have washed my hands again and re-tested in case there was something wrong with the strip or contamination on my hands.
