I obviously feel sorry for all who suffer in that way but that in no way detracts from the outworking of her time in office. Your last wish may well be granted in a desperate last throw of the dice. Thursday/Friday could be fun.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and those who look for the positive in life.

I started this Nobel prize for literature posting over 2 hours ago, but Mrs J said I had to get into our wildlife friendly ie overgrown back garden, but now I can’t remember what I was going to write. Such is life.

Blood sugars this morning were 4.7 and therefore breakfast broke all the low carb and sugar rules, luckily I have been able to garden without having a hypo.

Ah, no, I still can’t remember, never mind, politics and parking seem to be the hot topics this morning, let’s comment on parking.

Last year Mrs J and myself went to that quaint city of Exeter, we had a nice time, but all the obvious car parks were the mobile phone app type, Mrs J can do that type of thing on her phone, I can’t. The end result was a vow never to go back to Exeter.

Now politics, this is quite simple me, me’s and myself don’t do politics, stuff ‘em all, self serving, expense fiddling perpetrators of, well never mind.

This leads on to tennis. Mrs J has settled down to watch the men’s tennis on the idiot box, remote clenched in her hand, Mrs J is also recording the match? I know not why.

After my afternoon nap I shall continue with my ordained tasks, with no hope of reward or praise apart from the comment you should have done it earlier in the year.

Stay safe, stay away from Tilehurst Towers.

Yes - the money. Money is power wherever you live. Power tends to corrupt even those who appear to have moral strength. So, those who have money/power have to hang on to it or lose their control over their own and others' lives. What was that about it being harder for a rich man to enter heaven than ... Not that camels often want to pass through the eye of a needle but don't the rich also want heaven? Maybe it's too unbelievable to matter to them. Even if they don't believe, isn't it a bit risky not even to admit the possibility and take some action to protect their position? Maybe if I were rich, I would think differently, I don't know, but I can't imagine it.

Similar situation to @lindisfel, our front room faces east, so no sun because of housing facing us, then it doesn't shine into front room, because it's moved South by then! So, by the temperature had dropped in the shadows to around freezing with the wind and rain. It is cold! Not so the back room or garden! Absolutely not when the Sun is out after about 11am.
After such a great reading yesterday, I did want to keep it around there but something intervened!
I have developed a cold! Flu? Man flu? Virus? Maybe covid????
Symptoms, temperature up, dry throat and cough, hesdache, snotty nose streaming (using kitchen roll). Which combined with the rest of the usual stuff (suspects) symptoms. It is not a good morning for me!
No smell, no hunger, no thirst, but I have forced a gallon of tea and water down me!
Had me walk and me bit of garden and house chores.
It is really windy out there again, no rain yet today. But after more thunderstorms last evening, I can see more coming later. Cloud formations are huge and beautiful, depth of colours, but the spaces between are an azure deep blue!
Did you know the ancient Greeks called the sky colour bronze?
My better half, has had a little bit of bother with her new pad. She couldn't unlock the thing, when she turned it off! I had to spend a good hour unlocking the security features and the settings, so she could use the thing without having to mess with it. But she will anyway!

Having one system, isn't a money spinning option in our lives.
That is why everything is split up and down into different aspects of how to make it more convoluted and if it is a different system, then someone will make money.
Sub contracting, outsourcing, dummy corporations, and so on!
Every thing you buy has different options, technology, as companies try to outdo the others, to try and get you to buy it!
As always in our country, it's about money and how the rich can get richer!

Going for a lie down! Not well! Maybe it's bird flu? Maybe it's the dreaded lurgy? Maybe, this is it? If I don't post tomorrow, I will be in an intensive care unit or in isolation, with drips every where!

I think capitalism is a religion. In many ways. And profit is the God of power!
The important point of it, is to have as much as possible to do whatever you are schooled to succeed. In having the power, the clout, the respect of having more than someone else! 'He has made a success of his life, because he is a billionaire, and has a big house, a yacht, and so on!
The more, they have, the more they want and using methods to gain more, wether it being illegal or not!
They will use the system or buy the system in their favour!
We must have the most corrupt power brokers in the west!
Another Tory MP in the news for being arrested. Sexual assault and a cover up too boot!

Hug for the way you are feeling and prayers that it isn't too serious and for a speedy recovery. Bed with plenty of fluids is a good idea at a time like this. I don't imagine that your cold living room will help matters.

Not covid! Just the first day of a summer cold. I haven't had a cold since before the pandemic. Never had covid, I think!
It's raining again, cloudy with only blue sky on the north west horizon. The wind got up, then suddenly dropped, then of course, a big shower. Huge dark clouds from the south! Bloody southeners!
I'm sure I read that the only place that won't have temperatures go up cos of global warming is northern England! Something to do with the Atlantic drift. I want warmth!

Three years ago for me, but I've since ditched them a year last Christmas. Because they were doing me no favours with the cocktail of drugs I was downing everyday!
I still need the counselling due to my issues, trying to cope!
I do really hope that the happy pills are working for you!


I hope you are getting the love and care, you deserve mate!!

I do think sometime to be brutally honest, to get high, get smashed, get drunk and just leave her to cope on her own, but that is not me! I don't drink, can't do drugs, can't be out of control!

I didn't sleep for months and took a long time to get over it.
We all have our personal crosses to carry.
