What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

I get terrible joint locks and spasms in my fingers and hands such that I have to manipulate my fingers to get them to unlock - very inconvenient when it happens during driving.
Or doing the dishes!
or doing the dusting around her valuables.
or doing the glassware.
or getting something out of the freezer.
or using tools.
or simply putting on clothes especially socks or gloves.
Mrs L 's buttons, zips, thingymybobs, watchsmacallits, gadgets and gizmos!!!!

ha!

I always drop my Hs - common as muck. Nothing wrong with your minces young sparrow me owl. All those Lincolnshire carrots as a lad. You never see a rabbit at Specsavers :D
I don't know about that but visitors always insisted my mother had put horse muck in my shoes! We were not known for politeness and sensitivity to the feelings of others at our end of the Fen.

If you said horse muck you were definitely from the polite end of the Fenland spectrum.

One reason that I can’t complete paintings in one go if they are very fiddly. I might have to wrap something round my brushes to make the handles thicker.

Wildlife nighttime video
Cat Midnight has another very quiet night with no visitors...
I had over 150 2minute clips to look through that night, and they were ALL of Midnight. He moves a lot in the night, and he is forever triggering off the trail cameras which take a 2minute clip each time they are triggered off!!!

Creative is those hungry sparrows eating me out of house & home

Have a good day.

Time for a nap.

Take care...

F.B.G. at 0545 6.1 so somewhat worse than normal...probably the vaccine.

Just looked outside, it's pitch black and the stars are extremely bright and Orion is in the southwestern sky.

Marjorie wants to go on the bus to Carlisle and Tai Chi. I hope she is not pushing it too much but will take her to the bus in Wigton.
Have your best day.
Derek

Later.
Had to defrost two cars both frozen up with an air frost, so I sprayed deicer and kept both engines running so Marjorie had a car in Wigton when she got off the bus. All this just after 8 am.
Anyway she didn't feel well enough to go so it was all vain. Deicing one car is enough nowadays.
I will take her to Carlisle next week when I am not on Zoom.

Good morning everyone on a cold pre-sunrise start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.4 this am. Today’s task is to go to the city where a big Sainsbury’s lurks and buy their loose Kenya tea for dad. The tea that they sell in his local Super U or E Leclerc is not up to much. Has anyone heard of or used the Dexcom continuous sensor devices as an alternative to Libre? Art bit - a tad more more detail added. Hope your day is on your side. I shall go and make my first koffy of the day.

Your distant pine trees remind me of what it was like flying over Arctic Canada coming in over NW Territories and flying down the West Coast to California. At 40,000 plus feet using 10x bins you can see their massive heights when you get to the Canadian Taiga Forest. It quite sad when you see they have clear felled up to a very straight boundary line in places.

6.5 this morning. Not as cold a :) :):)s yesterday so the early morning dog walk was much more comfortable.

This week is really hectic as next week is half term and I am trying to shoe horne 1:1 clients into my diary while still scheduling in proper breaks.

Perhaps I need more training on how to do this because after 25 years of working for myself it is the one thing that I don't seen to have got the hang of :):):)

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and those of confused gender, in the interests of being woke tolerant today I am calling myself Loretta, but Mrs J is still calling me her usual abusive names.
Blood sugars this morning were 5.5

As me, me’s and myself were hobbling down the stairs first thing this morning I had one of those eureka moments, I discovered a new ache / pain in my ankle and thought to myself ah it’s my bodies way of letting me know I’m alive, ah the benefits of a pro active body. Then my thoughts drifted back to all the sports and activities I had partaken in during my youth, no wonder my body is extracting revenge, who knows. Ahh the expression you’ve got to be tough to get old seems to be true.

Well fellow posters and painters the day is moving on towards tomorrow so it’s time so wish you all well, stay safe and say don’t worry about the bed bugs, it’s the spiders in the cauliflowers, thankfully the media have not picked up on those yet.IMG_0213.jpeg

Morning all on St Etheldreda's day. Also known as Æthelthryth or Audrey. She allegedly gave rise to the word tawdry (attached). She is obviously an important figure in The (real) Fens which have been referred to as the "Holy Land of the English" because of the former monasteries, now churches and cathedrals, of Crowland, Ely, Peterborough, Ramsey (3 generations of Ps have been educated there) and Thorney. @dunelm thanks for sharing the art and best wishes for #teagate. @lindisfel what a loving, caring chap for de-icing two cars but probably for the best that Marjorie rests up a little longer. @Krystyna23040 good news on it being warmer -

I'm trying to work out what the emojis could be - presumably should be after the yesterday. Hopefully in another 25 years you'll crack the scheduling. You must be just on the edge of The Fens if Lynn is the border. @alf_Josiah I doubt I'm alone in having you in the frame for #spidergate? £1.80 for a cauli is far more frightening especially as those look as ropey as - insert pejorative of choice. Enjoy your day but hold off starting the sprouts for a while.

8.5 this morning at 2.15. Remained there or thereabouts since then.

Having a quiet day today because, as expected, I'm very sore after my "exercise" class yesterday. I say exercise, but really it is just a series of slow movements which don't stretch very much and don't put much stress on muscles and joints. Still hurts afterwards though. However, quite pleased that I managed to do one of the exercises standing up (about 3 minutes on my feet, but better than nothing).

We are having problems accessing hive online today to reset the boiler temperature schedule for the winter. It says we need to do 2 step verification to enter our account but doesn't allow us to do it.
Have you recently had the new "improved" box as well?
