@lindisfel a long sleep in the chair when your body really needs it is making good use of the day and is definitely not wasting the day.Just had a long sleep in chair this pm I don't like wasting the day but needs must.
Keep safe every body, I hope there is peace for you in London @dunelm.

@Lainie71 your garden definitely sounds heavenly. How wonderful to have a secret garden and to be able to provide a safe haven for wildlife.I love my garden its big enough to have little areas that are all different. I love my secret garden area that is fenced off with a pond and I love watching the damson flies lay their eggs. Its wonderful seeing the new ones emerge after years of living underneath in safety. I have had many land on my hand in the sunshine. We have ivy on the fence surrounding our secret garden and you would think we were somewhere else if it weren't for the road. I have my swing and I am out there in all weathers as its also sheltered from the elements. I don't think the neighbours like it but the garden next door is so overgrown, I don't think they have reason to moan as they are helping the wildlife too! I have had a resident robin, a fox and delinquent blackbirds nesting and eating my tomatoes but I don't care, its my bit of heaven.
It's the Protestant work ethic!@lindisfel a long sleep in the chair when your body really needs it is making good use of the day and is definitely not wasting the day.
On the seventh day even God rested. All your chair naps combined don't make a sabbath so chill your beans Winston. It's the Protestant work ethic!![]()
The Polari used in the Horne comedy programmes would have been lost on an unsophisticated kid like me!@SlimLizzy I'm so thankful for and humbled by your, indeed anyone's, prayers and thoughts God bless you. The process is fine thank you, as much a social event as anything and I haven't experienced any side effects in my 15 months. In terms of effective we are talking about a handbrake - but level 1 as it were - not a cure but so far so good. I'm thankful this was discovered when it was purely by chance. My stenosis is a bigger problem for now and if I'm honest so is LC/Keto diet but research suggests keto helps immunotherapy.(my chemo is in tablet form) Hug for your headache and lessons being cancelled. @dunelm thanks for sharing your art, that picture and fond memories of Round the Horne: listened after Sunday lunch as a boy, one of Dad's favourites. I would say radio did more for my language skills than A Level English. Precious memories. Enjoy your own version of Super Salmon Friday my teapot is singing a siren song.
Enjoy your trip @dunelmGood morning everyone from a bit of a damp start here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.7 this am. Train to catch this morning. Then another one and then the tube over to our digs where hopefully we will be greeted with jellied eels, pie mash and liquor and savaloys by a pearly King and Queen talking in Polari, ” Bona to vada your dolly old eke”. It’s dead weird daaan saaaaf. Art bit, penultimate one for this week. Hope you all have a fabulous day - make it so, this is the way. Must be koffy o’clock.

I would investigate your new solar panels capabilities,Ann, the very newest ones have more output per unit area.3 am saw a BG of 10.9. By 7.30 it had dropped to 8.9. Had a big dose of insulin and some toast for breakfast. I'm not hopeful that it will stay under control, but I did want the toast. Silly me!
Waiting for a surveyor to come to assess our house for an air source heat pump. It should make a difference to heating bills, especially if roof mounted solar panels are any use this far north. Neil reckons it would make overall annual bills slightly lower, but won't help much in the winter. We have to get this first stage out of the way first, though. One day at a time.

It appears to be the ultimate goal of a badger to sit on the swing like a cat...
Thank you for another wonderful owl and more autumnal colours. That boy badger looks quite self satisfied. While I'm here @jjraak very useful guide to London. I'm taking egg and flip as nick rather than the NSFW meanings google suggested but ....... whatever boils ya baconFbg 6.7

Creative - an owl painted in Procreate.
I fell asleep last night starting this, and didn't finish it, so tried again this morning, but it's hard in daylight. I prefer doing digital painting in the hours of darkness...
Time fo a cuppa and a nap
Have your best kind of day
