What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and commiserations for the loss of a loved companion @Krystyna23040 .

Blood sugars this morning were 4.8 and plan C put into action.

Mrs J woke me up at 8:50am, as Mrs J said only to see if I was still alive. Ah such concern.

Have a great day all, remember to…….drat I’ve forgotten what I was going to write, Mrs J interrupted me, me’s and myself again.

Stay safe all, stay dry

Have you booked your stated funded cruise to Rwanda yet?
Return tickets to be given to those more in need from or the next Tory minister in Rwanda.

I was making my coffee and cream this morning when in came a massive marmalade cat. You're that nice lady his face said. Good morning I said. Then in through the kitchen door came in a black ball of fury, and escorted the marmalade cat off the premises...

Wildlife nighttime video
That darned badger again, Pa Badger on the swing, and the fox jumped up when Badger jumped down. I think Fox wants to know the attraction for the badger. He cannot fathom it out.

This pen is still too black for me...

Stuff to do now.

A cuppa tea first.

I am really liking this series @gennepher

This is Archie's last day with us. He had a lovely breakfast of chicken and rice but could hardly stand up. He then collapsed and we had to carrying to his bed. He is 17 years, 2 months and 7 days old.

We are so lucky to have had such a wonderful dog for so long.
No words ease the pain.

But he's left you with a lifetime of memories, as he filled you & Mr k's heart with the unconditional love, laughter & moments of pure archie joy over the years.

We were truly blessed when God in his infinite wisdom, chose to send some of his finest creations to fill our hearts & share our lives with.

RiP Archie.

It's 0245 I've been up since 0115. At that time my Libre woke me up with the joyful news that BG was 14.9. It had wakened me half an hour before that with the news that BG was 11.4 but I turned over and dozed another half hour. It wasn't having that and collaborated with my arthritis to make sure I didn't stay there long. Took some pain killers and some insulin (a fair whack I thought) and now it stands at 17.8. Restless legs won;t let me put my feet up in the big chair, so here I am.

I thought I might not manage to go out yesterday afternoon and Neil did suggest that I call off, but I thought it was only fair to go since they were expecting me. Bad decision. Can't remember when I had such pain in my legs and back and was in serious danger of going over. It hasn't gone away overnight either. Now considering whether I can call off the leg rebandaging session this morning. We'll see how it goes.

Other problems making it worse - I may have had too much swede over the last 2 days and my innards are letting me know how displeased they are at that. I thought turnip was OK but it appears that only in small quantities that is so.

I think the pain killers are beginning to take effect now, so I'll try getting my feet up in the big chair. Toodle pip.

Loads of hugs for you @Annb

With any food, I cannot eat the amounts I used to eat in my pre diabetic days, otherwise my IBS objects.

My portions have to be small portions now, and some foods in very small portions.

I wonder if I am eating enough for a balanced diet. I take a multivitamin now.
Daughter from Australia suggests I have one of those protein shakes to get a variety of minerals etc. It didn't work. I didn't like the ones I tried and my IBS objected...

More gentle hugs for you...

Seems a restless night for many

Hugs & hope the day brings some ease, for you @Annb .

Our bodies do like to remind us we're more than the sum of T2D, @gennepher .
Always a difficult balancing act keeping an even keel, but even harder for some us.

Up at 'fartooearly' @JohnEGreen
But great fbg, though .

An awful night here, nasty little cough & cold, breaking now thank goodness, but the coughing keeping me awake a good part of the night .

Thank goodness it's a day off today, so I can rest up a tad .

Best wishes to all

Our internet went down Friday, just after we went 'digital'

Reading lots of issues in the rollout.
London, (makes sense) being the epicentre

I wasn't that bothered, bt hit us up with free 'hotspot' on the mobile to provide t'internet to TV

Lauren however, in a state of mourning over it .

The hotspotting is a much poorer quality.

Stops, starts, freezes, so I'm called to...restart show, refresh TV connection, yada yada

Confusing messages from BT regarding it

"Outside fault, no engineer required."...cool.

"Need an engineer to visit" (today)

"We fixed your fault "

"Need an engineer to visit ."...

...And now we're back up & working, without a visit ..nice.

Gonna call & cancel, if not needed.

Head back on pillow, today's gonna be a duvet day.

Eggs are a fairly complete food @gennepher, they just have so very few carbs.

Good morning all,
I am sleeping the best for years and not sleeping like I did in the day after moving my sertraline tablet to bed time on the suggestion of my daughter.
I feel much better.

May all your days get brighter as we climb up to the shortest day and on into the future.

I need those longer days @lindisfel and sun to reach my garden, no sun reaches my garden during this 3 month period....
