What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning All today 7.6 so still a lot of improvement required. @RosemaryJackson NEVER be ashamed to share high FBG here because we are all here because we care. It will get better also for @mojo37 and @NeeNee87. @Ashybang @Estragon and @RoughcutAU always inspire me. @DEBBIESCOTT hope you soon turn the corner with that nasty virus. Some really nasty and persistent viruses out there atm. My 32 yo son’s healthy and fit colleague of same age ended up in hospital with pneumonia which shocked my son’s GP into prescribing him antibiotics when he was ill.
Sorry mods that more than “some chat” but was well intended.

Would this be the same that's presently showing in your User Details?
She took me off linagliptin on 1st nov and since then my post meal readings are staying high for longer.Shes taken blood and if Hba1c has risen( from 45) she will re-issue them. She did say that because I am only on metformin I shouldn't be testing!

Morning all, this chilly Tuesday. FBG 5.9 for me first thing, before I jumped out of bed. Mr Libre makes it easy to see that it’s not really Dawn Phenomenon that sends it soaring, but the leap into action. Although today was more of a crawl.
Absolutely agree about the leap into action causing the leap in readings too!

Hi Estragen, I have type 2 which has plagued me for around 7 years now, my readings are always high, I do a lot of day to day activities, and loosely follow the low carb program, they've tried me on Trulicity, Victoza sorry about the spelling, Trulicity being my worst nightmare, so glad I took myself off it. I'm now on Metformin twice a day, Glicazide, and 12 units of Insulin, I'm at a loss as nothing seem's to bring down my blood sugar.

I’m no where near your complex T2, nor your length of dealing with it. Where do you stand with your HBA1C?
Just had my HBA1C done as predicted it was high at 38. I thought fasting blood levels was the first one in the morning. The thing I hate is my heavy legs, I struggle to walk, once warmed up I can move more freely, I'm putting this down to my weight or does anyone think it's the medication, I've tried having a break from the medication and my legs do clear.
