Not if you are a centipede get shoppingI can't resist a bargain either, but maybe 7 pairs is a little bit over the top.

One pair for every day of the week. Simples!I can't resist a bargain either, but maybe 7 pairs is a little bit over the top.
I had better not mention my collection @Krystyna23040 of flip flops, sandals-closed and open toe, barefoot sandals, barefoot shoes, barefoot boots, fell walking boots (sadly not in use now but useful when my ankle goes west), Crocs (5 pairs!?!), sheepskin slippers, sheepskin boots, other slippers (I have a friend who buys me sheepskin slippers every Xmas), wellies, and there's more...I can't resist a bargain either, but maybe 7 pairs is a little bit over the top.
Wow - shoe city here we come. My mother has odd feet so has to have footwear made (she has a titanium plate in her left foot). I think that they are quite expensive but they are comfortable and last several years.I had better not mention my collection @Krystyna23040 of flip flops, sandals-closed and open toe, barefoot sandals, barefoot shoes, barefoot boots, fell walking boots (sadly not in use now but useful when my ankle goes west), Crocs (5 pairs!?!), sheepskin slippers, sheepskin boots, other slippers (I have a friend who buys me sheepskin slippers every Xmas), wellies, and there's more...
My excuse is, my feet are so uncomfortable that I can only wear any shoes/slippers for half an hour or so at a time before they become unbearable to wear, and then I need/have to change to another pair. I do have orthotic insoles to help.
I was going to have a special pair made just pre covid before lockdowns by podiatry which they said should solve my problems, but that never materialised....
Smashing. I immediately thought it should be titled, “Thoughts inside my head”. I like the idea of putting a bit of pen ink into those pans. I like the teeny tiny palette.Fbg 6.3
Going down again...

Creative...with the black fountain pen and sprayed with water. Tippex for the moon, but the Tippex is a bit old and stringy, I need a new one...
I used felt tips for a little bit of colour, but I have just bought a teeny tiny palette. And, my idea was to put a bit of felt tip pen in each of the pans, and then use a water brush for that little bit of colour. What I was doing before was I was putting the felt tip pen on a separate piece of paper and using the water brush to ease a little bit of the colour out to use on the painting, but that was wasting a lot of the colour from the felt pen, which I couldn't 'pull' out of the paper with the water brush.
Anyway, here it is...
Have your best day...
Time for a cuppa and a nap.

I think that you are the clear winner @gennepher. It is such a shame that podiatry did not go ahead with the special orthotics that would have made your feet more comfortable.I had better not mention my collection @Krystyna23040 of flip flops, sandals-closed and open toe, barefoot sandals, barefoot shoes, barefoot boots, fell walking boots (sadly not in use now but useful when my ankle goes west), Crocs (5 pairs!?!), sheepskin slippers, sheepskin boots, other slippers (I have a friend who buys me sheepskin slippers every Xmas), wellies, and there's more...

What a pity that podiatry didn't sort out your shoe issues. Could you get back to them on that, now that the hospitals and clinics are getting back to something more normal?I had better not mention my collection @Krystyna23040 of flip flops, sandals-closed and open toe, barefoot sandals, barefoot shoes, barefoot boots, fell walking boots (sadly not in use now but useful when my ankle goes west), Crocs (5 pairs!?!), sheepskin slippers, sheepskin boots, other slippers (I have a friend who buys me sheepskin slippers every Xmas), wellies, and there's more...

Love these trees...they remind me of Elms...Good morning everyone on a trapped particles scattering the blue light from the sun in a stable air mass start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.8 this morning at 0600. A lovely walk into town yesterday, flitting to the bright sides of the streets to bathe in the weak sunshine warmth. A few chores and just at the right time, a bus turned up - marvellous. Mrs Miggins returned home safely from the future that was formerly known as GMT+1. Now re-named CET probably to confuse the masses and get more votes. Local prospective Labour candidate doing the doorstep walk. She was our MP before the locals were fed hypnotic drugs in the drinking water and voted blue in the last election. I had a list - she took notes - probably now in the bin but you never know. Art bit - more trees! If this is still your first day of the weekend then I hope you enjoy it, we have less time than we think. My koffy is nearly finished.

Blimey @Annb you have achieved a lot. I would not call that being lazy. I would be in bed having a nap by now....8.9 at 0530. That's because I corrected for a slight low last night about midnight (a biscuit). Down a bit now and on my 2nd cup of hot water. Just wondering if I can get by without taking more pain killers.
Very wet and pretty windy here today. Overcast and so still quite dark although it is 0940 so lights are still on. Not quite as cold as on previous days.
Things to do, but I'm feeling lazy this morning so will probably watch "Saturday Kitchen" on BBC1 before getting going properly. I have been doing things - stripping my bed, emptying bins, putting washing on - that sort of stuff, but don't feel like cooking breakfast. Just going to sit in my big chair (possibly fall asleep again in front of TV).
I can try again. Thanks @AnnbWhat a pity that podiatry didn't sort out your shoe issues. Could you get back to them on that, now that the hospitals and clinics are getting back to something more normal?
I have a few pairs of shoes in the wardrobe but can't get my feet into any of them - despite the bandaging, my feet are too swollen (even worse, of course, when they are bandaged), so the only ones I have left are really slippers from Cosyfeet - the kind that wrap across your feet and hold on with Velcro. I actually use these as outdoor shoes because the equivalent outdoor ones are so very heavy. Indoors I put on some very heavy socks over my lighter socks and bandages. This means I only have the one pair of useable shoes but then, I only go out once on most weeks and 2 at most, if I have a medical appointment.
Thanks @ianpspursGood morning footwear collectors. No known fg here but super salmon salad day traditionally (well, over the last 8.5 years) produces something between 4.2 and 5.5. I managed 9.5 steps yesterday - no rollator or walking pole: long way from the 25-30 just 2 years ago but as SuperMac said events dear boy, events. Medium term ambition is exercise bike and gym. Zoe podcast suggests resistance exercise (especially legs) makes the brain work better than Sudoku etc. I have built up step count gradually this week 7.5k, 8.5k, 9.5k @gennepher and @dunelm thanks for sharing your art and some of the secrets of how you produce such masterpieces. Elsewhere DJT has been handed a gift, in his supporter's eyes, to monetise (how many hats does he need to sell for that bill?) and turn into votes- me either. Good man Ollie Pope. - c'mon Stokes, Foakes and 9 other blokes. If you can’t enjoy Saturday, accept and move on.
