What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

8.2...so dropping.

Busy day yesterday.

Anesthetist called
A tad confusing

Mention of issues I don't have, all clarified.
A mite alarmed as he runs over procedure, and what was explained as a small op, requiring a sleeping patient, seems to be a much longer op (hours) then expected.

Finally all good for Mondays op .........

Until I get an email/etc a few minutes later postponing it until middle of July ....aagghh .


To add disappointment to the day, call cancelled as solicitor bailed as unwell, after I had rearranged an arrand so I could be home for the call.

Not mission critical but frustrating none the less.


First day back at work over & done with successfully.
(Aching so early night for this old duffer )

Just waiting now & working towards the time Lauren drops the location of our next adventure in September ..lol

Good day to you all from L.A. where it is a fine summer's day. Thank you for the birthday wishes which were greatly appreciated. @jjraak hug for what sounds like a horrible day yesterday but winner for the way you seem to have dealt with all the stress. @gennepher thank you for the creative. I am beginning to see why people like roses. I think well taken photos are ideal for me to enjoy them. @Annb I hope leg day goes smoothly and you enjoy WILTY. Good news on being able to fully use the ancestry websites. @alf_Josiah winner for continuing to post while being nurse, catering and cleaning staff. Elsewhere, the cricket went well so let's hope the football is just as good. Have yourself as much joy as possible today and peace be with you now and always.

Good morning everyone on another excellent bin day here in the dark and dangerous north. A trip to Whitby is on the cards this morning but as that was a discussion yesterday, who knows. I have been invited to a free NHS Lung Screening session - yipee! Appointment made - I am so excited. I could be so very excited but that’s far too modern. Art bit - a rock. Hope your day is a good one. I need some koffy.

Thank you for sharing the splendid art. Is the piece known as Hudson? Interesting piece as I can see all sorts of eyes and creatures.

Didn't know they still did those. tests Probably not the same as the ones they used to do in my youth. Then they were checking for TB but I doubt if that's what they are looking for now. Didn't find any sign of TB in my test, although it turned out later that I had been exposed to it and developed antibodies, but they did find that my Dad had had it without knowing it, and had got better all by himself.
