You are doing brilliantly @Lamont DOnce again, busy day, cos of the intense pressure to get things sorted, I used my persuasive skills for Mrs L to hide in bed today. Mind you, I had nearly completed my daily chores, and I needed some me time to finish the decorating and start to get things straight again.
Which I'm chuffed to say I have done.
Yes, it is intense heat today. My thermometer is boiling away at 27degrees. But there is no t much wind to cool the garden sun trap, Rain overnight not much. But didn't hear no thunder. Beautiful blue sky. Or the Greek used to say Bronze.........!!
Gonna sit with Mrs L in the shade after tiffin. Haddock tonight.
When I went upstairs with a cuppa earlier, Mrs L asked what I was doing?
I replied, not much.
Take it easy, Mrs L said. But don't be sitting in the sun all day!
No dear, it's too hot!
I did have my decorating shorts and t-shirt on with smears of a shade of light blue!
Its funny whilst I was glossing the mantelpiece, fire surround, Mrs L hasn't noticed it being so white!!!!
I do hope you are all ok, and thanks for the support and really kind words. Hopefully, I might get more time to go through the thread tomorrow.
My bestest wishes and hugs for th the lot of you as always.
Stay safe, stay warm.
If you get time tomorrow then have some sitting in the garden time. I had to go out this morning for some messages and to collect some missing medicines, and to find some bungee chords to anchor something and a couple of other things as protection (from the emporium type shop) against the badger which I'm going to finish tonight. I'm going stop him entering a part of the passageway by the kitchen with a strong metal fireguard I have (the trail cams show him breaking the cat flap again, the bits are on the floor), but it was too hot earlier to do this.
Afternoon siesta over now at gennepher's household. Still 28C here.
That was me done this morning...still got to unpack and check remaining meds. .
Enjoy your after dinner sit down.
