Good morning everyone on another cold and overcast start to the last day of September for the big ships to sail down the ally-ally-o. Arguments about if that is about the Manchester ship canal or perhaps the Suez Canal or maybe just some playground needle threading song - take your pick Michale Miles but only in grayscale. 5.6 this a.m. after several bad yet pleasurable menu and bar choices last night. Brought home half my dinner in a box - far too much - some for tonight. Which is good as Mrs Miggins will be overnighting at our daughters. The Funicular is back up and running after an electrical fire closed it down last winter. Long delays due to English Heritage beard stroking and teeth sucking followed swiftly (a relative term) by H&S. Hope you have a pleasurable end of month day. I shall of course be making koffy and piling on some wooly layers and a hat reminiscent of Ernest Shackleton’s Burberry helmet - dead fashionable me like!
