Thank you @ianpspurs. Rushing to see a tiny human all swaddled and either sleeping, crying, feeding or being changed as well as all those coochi cooos - the horror!Good morning all from L.A. where the weather is so far functional for anything I'm likely to do: dry, relatively mild with a high probability of afternoon showers. That's according to my phone. The most reliable weather forecasts I have known came from a farmer I regularly conversed with back in the Old Country. He used the hedgerows and progress of crops as well as very high tech meteorological data and his records. Remarkably accurate medium term forecasts. @gennepher hug for the frustration in restoring full functionality to your tech. Thank you for sharing the creative. @dunelm thank you for sharing the photos and art. Enjoy the kippers - I never did see the attraction but my dad and grandparents did. I suspect the correct answer to Mrs Miggins' question was a quick yes but you know best. @Krystyna23040 good news on staying close to home today. As for the weather and Poppy's walk I'd say be like Mr Asquith, wait and see (favourite, ubiquitous saying of my maternal grandmother). @alf_Josiah I hope the PP lessons go well. May the very localised pleasure forecast for your Wednesday is sunny even in periods.

The man doth protest too much, methinks. An Olde (gender fluid) version of trying (much) too hard. In this case at being seen as a professionally D and D denizen. Anyhow, has anyone actually ever heard someone say coochi coo?Thank you @ianpspurs. The hug is for the tech issues. MIL (JKP) had problems with her bank after being scammed and now with trying to prove her identity, to gift money to our son for a house deposit, since she has no photographic ID. I sympathise but can also see why there are so many layers of security. Thank you for sharing the creative and I hope if you do sit on the swing it brings you peace. Very enterprising of you to earn money walking babies. I would be very alarmed by anyone saying coochi coochi choo, coochi coochi choo. It is just wrong on so many levels. Take care.Fbg 7.1
A thunderstorm in the night and I've got a paddling pool around my bungalow again.
Busy here trying with this iPad mini again. I think I've downloaded all the apps again. Quite a lot cannot be downloaded but they don't exist anymore in the Apple store. That's a pain in the neck. Then there is the signing into everything again, but the security is more rigorous than before in many ways. And it is taking an inordinate amount of time sending all these codes and signing and codes to my phone and then responding to those, and one thing to sign in it made me do it three times before it would accept it with me, we'll just do it again giving me a new 4 number code to my phone, it said, we'll just do it again...3rd attempt it decided I was me and let me in...
And and the bank still won't accept my legitimate password and my legitimate code from my secret password... I have this correctly written down and I used this before, to get online in the first place... It goes on to a bot telephoning me, but there is no provision for a deaf person. Except it did say, if you are deaf, then after 30 seconds type in this code number. I did that and I think it said you haven't typed in the code number, goodbye. A horrible voice not clear, and I was using a speech to text app on another device to try to cope. I tried twice, same thing happened each time, and the bot that phoned me cut me off again. I didn't try a third ime in case my bank account got locked down.
The chat facility is within the app, and I cannot get into the app to use it...
Pre COVID and lockdowns I would ask someone where I attended most days either teaching, or learning, or someone on the cafe there, for obstinate phone calls. But that never started up again when lockdowns finished. So that was my support network which I assumed would be there pretty much forever, gone. And because my friends ( they were all single, other half had died), went back to stay with their family whether their family was older than them or younger than them, left the area to go back to stay with them during Covid lockdowns and never came back, or died of old age....
One of these days I'll be locked out of everything, as maybe we all might be...be very afraid...
My current plan is to go to a country town a little distance from here and the bank is still there, and I can park outside directly outside, if I get there early enough, which I need. So I'll go there one day next week, but it needs to be a fine day where I can use my mobility scooter to go around the town afterwards... but if I didn't drive, and if I didn't have a car I would not be able to do this... I will be asking that bank if there is some kind of text contact text number or a method of communicating with them if a similar situation should arise again. I have a folder of individual ways of contacting specific people or specific organizations, but they all need to be set up one specific situations arise, I cannot prepare for these in advance, because I don't know what they are.
Creative is a painting I did some years ago. I scrunched up some layout paper stuck it to a postcard and used watercolor paint on this. I remember I quite enjoyed doing this, and I had prepared a whole pile of A4 size paper in this way meaning to do some paintings in the same way. The background color was done on all of them because that was a feature of them being scrunched up and how it dried in the folds. But I never did them, I got waylaid by another idea, but the box of these prepared surfaces are in the garage waiting for me to open them and finish creating the paintings. It's usually during a period of stress where I paint surfaces, or canvases, or paper with different techniques ready to paint on another day. There are about half a dozen, or maybe more plastic boxes in the garage that have all been prepared in different ways, for a later date, but the periods of stress never stops...
Blimey, I didn't means to write this much... The deluge outside is not stopping so I might put my wellies on and go and sit on the swing, in the paddling pool, for a bit...it's okay, the swing is covered....
Have a good day, do something different...

a dramatic rendition @gennepher.Fbg 7.1 an aeon ago...
My internet connection went on a go slow today. I am trying to download the apps on to my iPad Mini. Which I thought should have been done, when the iPad was reinstalled through the backup from the Apple cloud.
I was grumbling to a friend today who has nothing but Apple and Macs, and stuff and she said she had the same problem the last time she reinstalled a device from the backup.
I am still nowhere near finishing re-setting up that iPad Mini. It is my main everything device so I needed all done as soon as possible. My online banking still insists that my password and extra security password is incorrect. It most definitely is not. A couple of bills came in today by post which I need my online banking to pay for and I can't get in on it.
There are quite a few apps which I paid some money for and I can't get in on them. To try and get in on the other apps I've got to jump through security hoops, 4 or 6 letter codes delivered to my phone and then I've got to put them in the app to see if I can get the app running. This is driving me totally demented.
I have completely run out of steam...
This is at least doing take me another couple of days. In the meantime here is a painting of some flowers I did about a few years ago...
I think today is nearly over so I wish you a happy tomorrow,..

Hug for you and anyone else in wet and wintry conditions. Doors open here and thermostat reading 21ºC - low end of mild but fine for salad so a good day here.I think I've missed posts ahhh well!
7.0 again.
a very damp overnight, again.
Very noisy around the neighbours getting a lot of work done to various reasons.
Next door boiler, across from, the outside walls of two gardens together and pathways, drilling and jackhammer going ten to the dozen. Guy using, no safety glasses!!
Incidents and accidents, Another full night of sleep disruption, more washing and cleaning.
Cricket quietly going on, lots of runs. It's a draw!
Darts once again, brilliant.
Have a nice day even tho it's very winterlike, tho Miami is getting it.
Best wishes to you lot as always.
Exactly....Thank you @ianpspurs. Rushing to see a tiny human all swaddled and either sleeping, crying, feeding or being changed as well as all those coochi cooos - the horror!

Do watch out for those boy racers. Some of them are a tad careless about their own and others' safety.Received in the post this morning the logbook for my mobility scooter and as have insurance I am able to use it on the road no longer restricted to pavements so will be able to annoy all the boy racers around here.
Am I in a minority of one who would prefer the smell of a Poonami to that of a motorsickle? (yes I know but I'm here in L.A. and even the word is a step too far for me)Exactly....
.all wrapped up & they don't even HAVE a motorbike ...
(Yep, It would have been a no from me too )
