What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

We will have a hug together .
Well can I be included in that as my sugar was 7.9 this morning. Yes well there we have it, I succumbed to an blooming apple late last night before bed :banghead: Was 5.4 after workout but not the point!

Greetings @Boris Vukas and welcome to this FBG thread. It's good to see you here.

Logging my FBG numbers here, it must be said, helps to keep me motivated, especially when readings drift upwards due factors beyond our control like infection and injury.

Once again, welcome
Greetings to you too, my diabetes type 2 is unbelivable I have precisely three blood glucose spikes a day with minute precision and no matter what I do, can't prevent or stop it. HbA1c improved due to weight loss and strict diet from 6.9% to 6.5%. At the same time if I eat something unhealthy that doesnt cause blood sugar spikes at all. I've tried cinnamon, berberine, chromium picolinate, magnesium, bitter melon, sage, turmeric..... nothing helps. I also tried running when my fasting blood sugar starts to raise with no effect. I also have non alcoholic fatty liver desease this implies that my diabetes is purely metabolic disorder and uncontroled. My liver stores carbs in form of fat and releases glucose in timely manner.

6.2 this foggy dreary morning. Happy to leave the house behind as infested with spiders, snakes and creepy crawlies. (pre Halloween for children, not an unkempt house.) Worst still a couple of cauldrons full of sweets and goodies which so far I have managed the temptation snaffle a few and hope they all go this evening. Happy Halloween if you are celebrating, grumpy acceptance and sympathy if you are like me.
