Good morning everyone on another very quiet and tranquil start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.4 this a.m. Just three miles yesterday morning in the pale sunshine before the rain started. Hot tip; on very cold or rainy days, pick a large supermarket and march up and down every isle to get your step count up in the comfort of a dry and mostly warm environment - no snacking at products mind no matter how tempting.
Veterans Breakfast Club this Farmers Market morning and then whatever the day brings. Art bit - a heron. Hope your day goes well. Must make some koffy.

Fbg 6.2 this morning.
Didn’t make the afternoon appointment at the surgery yesterday as
The car was unavailable and even if it was blood sugar was in the low threes and the AF was giving me palpitations so informed the doctors and stayed home in the warm.

Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s a good day to be alive, unfortunately a cold, bitterly cold day.

Blood sugars yesterday were 4.8 and today 4.1 , measures were taken and for today have been taken.

This morning Mrs J had myself and my eldest grandson moving furniture, only a few inches, but of course the furniture needed emptying, then the contents putting back under HER direction, it is my guess some items will never see the light of day again.

Due to Mrs J’s intervention this morning my schedule is in tatters, but, given a chance when unsupervised………..

Stay warm, stay safe.

For those outside the family of pets, it's oh dear

But for those Inside, we get how crushing the loss is

It's a family member ...
Someone WE love who helped make our family what it is

I amongst many admire Mr k.
But even the strongest of us suffer at the loss of a loved one.

I hope you both take comfort In the shared memories of all those walks , you so generously shared with us all .

Yes, Poppy and Archie are romping together on the other side of the rainbow bridge. We are so lucky that she was in our lives for virtually 15 years and that now she is not in pain now.

Because Mr K was with her more than I was - they had a really special bond. She did love me as well and I loved her very much. We both really miss her. She was such a happy little girly.

I not a dog or animal painter. I cannot do anything like those fantastic portraits on Instagram.
What I can do if you send me by DM or email, a selection of photographs, is try to attempt to do a painting with Poppy & Archie together. It will NOT be an oil painting, but in line & watercolour. In my mind's eye I also see the background of where you took them for walks, or I could do something in your garden with them on a bench or favorite spot (photographs needed for reference) But there does not have to be a background, it can be something you see in your mind's eye that you cannot get on a photograph.

The offer is there and this will be my gift to you.
