How many BG meters do you have?

I only have one (accu-chek aviva nano).

It is my trusty little foot soldier and I would feel disloyal if I bought another one. Or another seven :wideyed:

I'm reliably informed that this picture was taken in Hampshire, on a Sunday :)

Just the one that I can use as it's the only one I have strips for. I get one on prescription every 4 years and they are expensive to buy here.
At the moment fed up with my 'new' BG Star. I'm about to go for a run and it just told me I was 65 (too low) and then a repeat test said 96 (Ok ish), the third 102 .(it's not the first time I've had very inconsistent results with it)
As I can't have a new one for some time,I'm going to ask my doctor to go back to prescribing for my now 5 year old One Touch.

I bought an accucheck because the evil dn refused to give me one. Then someone told me about the sd codefree so I bought one of those. Then a locum gave me a nexus. I've had 2 lots of strips so far! :D like the sd codefree best but am putting up with nexus as free. I will be using this till strips run out and or can't have any more from doc!

I feel deprived. I have only one meter - given to me by the hospital as a pay-off for cancelling my op. Its the Contour XT complete with its own pouch and I rather like it :)

Long time no hear! How are you? Have they rescheduled the op? :(

Well maybe not need to. sorry

Oh it seems an age ago now, but I was scheduled for surgery in January this year but my BS were so high, the Diabetic Specialist nurse at the hospital told me they wouldn't operate until they lowered. I was presented with a meter and a home diary and had a little finger pricking demonstration before being allowed to prick my own, under supervision, and then sent away. I've not heard a thing since. Am not too bothered. Am feeling loads better since going LCHF. Controlling my BS is my primary health concern, not the op. Still can't get the fasting ones below 7 and 8 but I am still in a stressful legal situation. I'm sure its all related. The rest of the day I'm between 5 - 7. I even managed a Pimms today and kept below 8 :)

I never really left, but its nice to be back posting. Hope you are all doing well. Ashamed to say that I still hate @Scandichic for her amazing weight loss :)
