Pay off for cancelling your op. You need to explain that.I feel deprived. I have only one meter - given to me by the hospital as a pay-off for cancelling my op. Its the Contour XT complete with its own pouch and I rather like it

So you don't need the surgery now?Oh it seems an age ago now, but I was scheduled for surgery in January this year but my BS were so high, the Diabetic Specialist nurse at the hospital told me they wouldn't operate until they lowered. I was presented with a meter and a home diary and had a little finger pricking demonstration before being allowed to prick my own, under supervision, and then sent away. I've not heard a thing since. Am not too bothered. Am feeling loads better since going LCHF. Controlling my BS is my primary health concern, not the op. Still can't get the fasting ones below 7 and 8 but I am still in a stressful legal situation. I'm sure its all related. The rest of the day I'm between 5 - 7. I even managed a Pimms today and kept below 8
I never really left, but its nice to be back posting. Hope you are all doing well. Ashamed to say that I still hate @Scandichic for her amazing weight loss

Can you stand on one leg for 17 hours?Possibly, but I seem to have fallen through the NHS net. I'm coping, and hoping by addressing my diabetes my condition will improve. without intervention. I like a challenge
