Newcastle diet starting Monday, done it once who gonna join me on my journey??

Day 35. No more weight loss. Fasting bloods up again to 7.2. :( Going away for work again - but not having to meet over meals this time - so looking forward to pure ND and better bloods on my return.
 
ok, well i am going to see my diabetic nurse on Tuesday for the first time, so will probably ask her,

is there any questions i should be asking her
I understand the biggest risk is to the heart. You really need to be sure to ask if there is any risk to your heart.
 
Day 36. Fasting blood 5.4. Getting back down again. :rolleyes: 20 days to go to get down to my 82.5kg target. That is looking quite optimistic from here!
 
Hi just asking when i start this diet , do people eat in between the shakes etc

Can't wait to eat real food
Planning to drop one shake every two days and replace with real food
Going LCHF for now and will add carbs in a week to see how the body reacts to it.

Brettsza, well done, congrats, now your finally finished, have been lurking on this thread from near the start, and have found it a brilliant learning curve with some really great postings, keep posting your experiences on your transition to "normal" food, I would be most interested, This thread inspired me to start the ND diet and now into the second week, once again, big congratulations

Great, at least I'll have some company, it's bad when one can't pass the fridge but I have to grab a mushroom, then you know it's time for a SlimFast, doing the same as @Steve40, by lasting until nearly lunch time b4 the first SlimFast
 
Hi just before i started the diet, did anyone eat in between the shakes !!

i read about that on top of the shakes you can still have up to 200cals of vegetables , is this correct

Yes but keep in mind you need the olive oil too everyday
i normally cooked my veggies in 1 spoon of oil or made soups with it.
