Alcohol gives me the munchies. I think if mainly on an empty stomach it can dip your bgs. We are warned about it on insulin as it can be dangerous.
On no meds and a type2 diabetic it can reduce the bgs. Fbg if taken in evening without much food. I don't recommend as an substitute for meds thou. They come first priority.

5.4 this morning. Missed yesterday as was on a ferry to Shetland. Really stormy but Phenergan stopped seasickness but didn't help me sleep until off the ferry. Slept all afternoon and all night. Brand new now.

Most of us are low carbing. Its doing our bgs wonders. 6weeks in and most have a lower fbg level too.
