For the past week, I have not been hungry so have just been eating 2 eggs and some yoghurt per day - blood sugars are mainly 6.2 - usually 5.6 apart from the mornings. My breath smells of aniseed, and not loosing any weight - are the higher sugars due to liver dump? Is this good that it is...

At 21:00 my bg was 5.5, I then ate 2 boiled eggs, 22:30 bg was 5.8, then at 23:00 was 6.2 - I assumed the numbers would be lower after 2 hours post eating? Makes no sense to me - wondering why I bother.

Anyone else get this? Night time fasting is always 5.5 to 6.2, but post meal after 2 hours never gets above the 6's - I assumed it was the other way around for most people.

Fasting reading this morning 6.2 Breakfast 2 eggs, 1 hour after breakfast 5.6, and 2 hours after breakfast 6.2, and 3 hours after breakfast 6.7, water only to drink, why would this happen after eating only 2 eggs? I'm one point off being pre-diabetic, so I need to understand please.

Is this normal? My bg reading was 5.3 before a meal and 5.1 after a meal (2 hrs) - I always assumed that it would be higher after eating.

Would a fasting number of 6.8 indicate pre-diabetes?

My first Plasma fasting glucose level (AL2193) was 5.3 mmol/L March 2015, and my 2nd test was a different test HbA1C was 41 mmol/mol, October 16, which I have just found out is just below pre-diabetes and I assume approx 5.9 in the old equivalent, so it has gone up a lot - not that anyone said...
