    Hi Just a quick question about testing. I am type 2 and very active (just completed a half Ironman ) How often do you test when you are active as my bloods can be up and down with the exercise I do. I am on metformin. But my dose is being lowered because of exercise.

    75 mins on the bike indoor, 1 hour swim as the roads were open and I could get to the gym.

    I forget I am type 2, but I eat healthy. I don't believe the odd spike will do any long term harm.

    I have gone from 18 stone to 15 I started doing the couch to 5k a few years ago. Got my first 70.3 tri this year. Make time 30 mins a day will make the world of difference.
