Hi All
I have had my FreeStyle Libre machine for a while now, and I love it. I don't buy sensors every month, but when my fingers get a little sore, I buy sensors and give them a break.
I think the FreeStyle Libre is great, it is so convenient and is less hassle. It does come with it's own set...
Diagnosed 42 years ago T1. Went on the pump "99". Finally went to a CGM 2 months ago Dex4. A friend told me about Freestle but I can't find any info if Freestyle has an alarm. Extremely brittle and without an alarm methodology I have to discount this one.
Any information would be extremely helpful.
Hi all
I really need a Silicone case for my Libre, as I'm a super clumsy person, and I really would like to look after my new Libre reader. If anyone has a Libre Silicone case spare, would you please donate one to me? I would be forever in your debt. I can pay for the stamp via paypal if you...
I am on Freestyle Libre sensors which work great for me and my control. However I am moving soon to another county. Will this affect my prescription and will I still be able to get them? I am assuming they wont suddenly change my testing regime, but have had bad past experiences with this? Any...
Hi, my 13-year-old son is type 1 diagnosed at 8 we started using the Libre the day they announced it was licenced for over 4-year-olds. He was in primary school then teachers insisted he waited until 2 members of staff were present to check bloods. This sometimes as we all know is impossible...
I needed to buy a new sensor in a country I was visiting. I put it on as usual and went to start the sensor with my Freestyle libre reader. The message on the reader was that the sensor was incompatible with the reader. I wondered why this would be as my reader wasn't broken and was relatively...

I just got the freestyle libre for my sister (she's on disability and our region doesn't cover it)...she has had the discs and monitor for 1 month. Yesterday she wasn't feeling well (gastro) and called the ambulance. Her monitor was reading 15 but they did a pinprick and got 25! once in emerge...
I am trying to gain a more detailed insight into the movements of my Glucose levels, so that I can continue with my efforts to reverse my T2 diabetes.
Previously, I have stepped up the frequency of my testing using Nexus blood testing strips, but this proved to be painful on my fingers (!) and...
For any Canadians, Freestyle Libre is now available in Canada to order off the internet from Abbott:

I have been using mine for about a week. I am a type 2, insulin dependent diabetic. I count carbohydrates to calculate my insulin dosage. I've been using an Accu-Chek Aviva Combo meter with its built in insulin dose calculator for about 2-3 years, going through 8 test strips a day. I was...
Hi all!
I finally got round to ordering the Freestyle Libre starter pack by abbot last week - it arrived on Monday and i couldn't wait to get it on!
Everything was going well until today (so two days after application), I noticed my arm is bleeding beneath the sensor and so the adhesive is all...
Hello, I just started using the freestyle libre since today. I finally got my hands on one (it took me some time since it's really hard to get one here....)
I just had one question about it.
I decided to only use the freestyle librelink app simply cause it would take 15 days to order the reader...
My daughter was diagnosed as Type I recently. After a lot of research on this and other forums, we zeroed in on the Abbott Libre as a 'must have' piece of equipment. However, there are two different versions of this device- the Freestyle Libre and the Libre Pro. Both differ in functionality...
Hey
I am planning to get a measurement like freestyle libre (or any brand), but i want to use my mobile directly to read my sugar from the sensor on my skin, without using the diabetes measurement, because i always have my mobile in my pocket so it would be easier than having two devices in my...
So after many years of resisting it I have finally gone onto the pump.
They fitted me out last Monday with a saline run through so I could get used to pump care first and see if I was ok wearing it. The aim is to go live with insulin this Monday coming (so wish me luck! ), but there is one...
Hi!
I was diagnosed with Type 1 back in January, and I still have this fear of testing my Blood Glucose in public (injecting I feel fine with - weirdly).
I've seen a lot of people on instagram who use either Dexcom sensors or Freestyle Libre, which allow you to monitor and track your blood...
Hi,
What is the best way to export this data from my Android app to my desktop computer? I do not have the reader, only the app and export seems limited to 3rd party tools. Out of the 3rd party integrations, are there any recommendations?
Does buying the hardware reader allow you to get this...
I thought this was interesting. This past Tuesday I had a very stressful event occur while I had a Freestyle Libre sensor running. I'm a recovering type 2 and I like to see how things are going occasionally by using a Freestyle Libre sensor.
A little background: The stressful event was a...
