2021/22 season

Happy new year everyone. Lets hope its a good one for our teams. Not many games in action today. Tomorrow we travel across the Pennines to Blackburn. That will be a tough game as they are on form.

Winter Break up here, which could be a good thing for DUFC.

Haven't looked where we are .midweek.
 
Finished up 0-0 draw. That's a good result against 2nd placed team. It keeps us in 6th place for now. Next Saturday is FA Cup. We travel yet again in to Lancashire to face Burnley.

FA Cup weekend. Our lads travel to Burnley tomorrow. I reckon Shaun's mob will wipe the floor with us. I hope they do cos we need to concentrate on the league.
 
Bloody hell I'm flabbergasted. We actually Beat Burnley 1-2. Mr Diche won't be happy at that lol. Home to Swansea next Saturday in the League. Hopefully 3 points from that.

We drawn Barnsley at home in 4th round of FA Cup. Should be a breeze or at least it ought to be.

4th round? Lol I'm glad someone is still in the competition! We went to Notts Forest. Wish we hadn't bothered lol. Arsenal were dreadful. Odegaard was ok but most of the others didn't bother turning up

Meanwhile Leeds lost to West Ham. When is offside not offside? When it's to the detriment of Leeds apparently. Hey ho
 
Just seen Tuesday nights results and wow Foolham blasted Reading for 0-7. Long time since I've seen a score like that. looking ahead to the weekend fixtures and it looks like all 12 matches in the Championship are still on. There's a lot of catching up to be done by teams that have had Covid. Going to be interesting.

Darn and blast we were winning for long enough and we let Swansea equalise. Drat now that puts us in 7th. Away to Reading next week.
 
Thought i'd put my penny worth in as a Boro season ticket holder. Mr Wilder is keeping us happy at the moment. Although for 80 minutes i was cold and miserbale :)

Welcome! We were miserable but not cold as our Spurs v Arsenal match was postponed.

However I was delighted that Leeds got a much needed 3 points at West Ham by winning 3-2. Phew.

It would been good if FGR had held on a little longer to get 3 points at Northampton, but at least they got another point.
