"A new you in 42"

Oh I don't know - we could get a group of us together and call ourselves the 'flouncing forty two-ers'!:joyful:

40 minute walk on a National Trust estate today, and a brisk 20 minutes after dinner.

Just counted up and between here and Facebook there are 30 of us doing this challenge and all for our individual reasons. We are stars.

....meeting a friend in my lunch hour today so no walk, so have decided to walk home from work [about half an hour] if the rain holds off...

....I dug out my..... errm........spinning disc [?] last night.....not sure if thats what its called....it rotates and its like a big old fashioned vinyl disc which rotates so you stand on it and swivel lol I'm finding it hard to describe, maybe you get the picture....anyways I can use it while watching telly or listening to music so double bonus :joyful:

Pollylocks I know what you mean. It helps tone your tummy and bum muscles.
For me the good thing about this is that we are all being creative and fitting the 30 minutes into our lives.

Been the gym. Used DP which meant I ended up doing about an hour cardio to get sugars down before doing weights. Bloody knackered. Still can't face running on treadmill. I really don't like the sensation of everything wobbling and me glasses bouncing. I feel all out of control.

Just back from a 25 minute jaunt. One and a half times round a slightly bigger circuit. It is lovely and sunny and I can feel the vitamin D seeping into me

I wore trainers today so had more of a spring in my step. Also caught myself smiling today lol Earplugs firmly in, music blasting in my ears so that if any bams shout at me I can't hear them:headphone::p hehe

Only 5 minutes left to do today for the 30 minute minimum - should polish that off which a quick Hey Ya! in my nightie later (Outkast)

phone watching so it's been a quick five minutes on exercise bike earlier and then 40 minutes window cleaning and polishing- I've even cleaned the magnets on front of the fridge door!

Got persuaded to do another 1hr bike ride - boy my legs were burning on the last climb. Back and showered and now feel epic!

cool :) I'm investing in some padded underwear tomorrow and maybe a hat if i pluck up the courage to try out the shoes that lock into the pedals, i know ill be laying next to every traffic light looking like a numpty, do you use them? is it inevitable that ill fall over with the bike still between my legs? its reaching phobia proportions

Managed a 60min session on my indoor rower today. Keep up the great work everyone :-)
