Well my fellow 42ers
Today I have been inspired, and feeling a little guilty at being a bit of a couch potato at the weekend,(really struggled to think of creative ways to claim activities as exercise).
Today I did 30minutes non-stop swimming. I wanted to get out of the pool, as it was busy with some children still being off school. Every time I thought about getting out, I noticed the shower area was packed, so, thinking it was about time I claimed bragging rights, I did another 10 minutes swimming, followed by 15 minutes aqua running and fast treading water. It felt amazing. Being so restricted in movement on land makes me feel so free in the water.
I then spent 30 minutes walking in the supermarket. (Well I did after I got dried and dressed) The staff there haven't rumbled me yet, I am not there to spend, just to use their nice level, wide isles, and hold on to their trollies to keep me upright. Sorry if you are one of the poor souls trying to do your shopping, but I do try to avoid busy times. I had another 10 minute walk later in the day.
My intention before starting this challenge was to begin building up my water exercise sessions. Before the challenge, it was easy for me to say 'sod it' and use least little excuse not to get out to the pool. Now I have all of you 'Jiminy Crickets' guiding me.
Jamrox, thank you so much for starting this. Everyone, thank you for keeping it going.
