Best High Street Optician - Opinion Needed

I had my annual retinal check today.

Was informed the check does not look for glaucoma which I was unaware of until today.

What is the best high street optician I should book an appointment with?

Best equipment etc.

Hi @Imperial .

I think people will have different experiences of opticians, depending on where they live.

I have a preference for an independent optician, as there is the continuity of care often not found in the larger companies with high turnover of staff. Wherever you choose if glaucoma is a concern, especially if you have close family member with the condition, mention it. I believe the test is standard part of the eye examination now.

I've used a variety of opticians, most recently Boots, and prior to that, Vision Express. They've always done Glaucoma tests.
