You can change the carbs/fat/protein balance yourself on there @scottie1
I've only just found out how to do that this week
I have a Traumatic Brain Injury though, so it's taken me all year to even learn how to use it.
I think fitnesspal is fab
Yes i'm hoping thats the case ........i've just bought some long life milkClive, wishing you all the best with the op, I have heard it said that Prostate Cancer is one you have to live with until something else kills you. Once diagnosed treatment is normally very effective, but until you see details to show that it is under control it must be a worry.
It is scottie in more ways than one, and your heading in the right direction , did you get " my fitness pal ?Used no carbs today so far, though have had 360 calories in an omelette.
Think I'm doing really well, if I say so myself.
What a wonderful forum this is

Yes, Clive I did, using it on my laptop. Changed the carbs from 156g to 50 g but apart from that am finding it very useful. Have used 360 calories so far today, also my book has arrived so hubby and I will be going through that today at some point. I'm sure there is no need for me to be hungry.

Milliesue....thats amazing ,give her a hug from me! All in all very encouraging :Clive,
My best friend, ( we met at school age 11 ) has a very special anniversary next month.
It will be five years since she had a double mastectomy. The first year was hard for her, lots of followup treatment etc.
But she is five years and still counting.
Have you checked the carbs in that long life milk.:***:
Increase those calories Scottie or you will be hungry and feel drained and tired. I assume you will be consuming some more later? You need somewhere around 1200 at least.
