Blood Sugar in High 20's and GP not helping, please advise

Oh, my goodness Clive, here I am going on about my weight, so sorry to hear your news.

Thinking of you and hoping for a full and speedy recovery. Please try and stay positive, I have everything crossed for you. xx
No worries scottie,i 'm grateful for your kind thoughts scottie, ::))

Clive, wishing you all the best with the op, I have heard it said that Prostate Cancer is one you have to live with until something else kills you. Once diagnosed treatment is normally very effective, but until you see details to show that it is under control it must be a worry.

Yes i'm hoping thats the case ........i've just bought some long life milk :))

Used no carbs today so far, though have had 360 calories in an omelette.

Think I'm doing really well, if I say so myself.

What a wonderful forum this is :D

Yes, Clive I did, using it on my laptop. Changed the carbs from 156g to 50 g but apart from that am finding it very useful. Have used 360 calories so far today, also my book has arrived so hubby and I will be going through that today at some point. I'm sure there is no need for me to be hungry.

Increase those calories Scottie or you will be hungry and feel drained and tired. I assume you will be consuming some more later? You need somewhere around 1200 at least.

Clive,
My best friend, ( we met at school age 11 ) has a very special anniversary next month.
It will be five years since she had a double mastectomy. The first year was hard for her, lots of followup treatment etc.
But she is five years and still counting.

Have you checked the carbs in that long life milk.:***:

Yes, I shall be having sausage, eggs, bacon & mushroom. The ideal amount of calories is 1270 so I think I will be able to stick to that, as well as low-carbing.

Hey Clive. Remember that we are all keeping everything crossed for you too won't you. Glad to read that you don't have too long to wait for the op so won't be worrying much longer. Lots of virtual hugs coming at you x

On fitnesspal make sure you put in some of your activities such as light housework, 20 min walk etc.... Its important otherwise you may end up still having too few calories. Even cleaning etc can be listed.. And accounted for.
