Agreed, though I can't run on a treadmill, I just find it very dull - wind, rain and puddles for me.Out of all the exercise contraptions I have the one thing that gives me that endorphin hit is running, on treadmill and outside. Not even the spin bike does it anymore!
I hated cross country (used to nip through the churchyard) 1500m (once ran it 3 & 3/4 round the track, teacher didn’t believe me & made me do it all again, hated hockey, got hit in the head with a hockey stick & had to sit through double maths with a black eye, much preferred racket sports, swimming or athleticsA lot of my mates at school hated PE but cross country in freezing winter weather was my fix. They would bunk off and smokes cigs at the swings whilst taking it in turns to play look out for the teachers! I would go around twice, crossing two fields and a kissing gate. I could never run hurdles or do the long jump I was too short and I was never picked for rounders as I couldn't run on the flat, but I could belt the ball like a cricketer apparently! I got ribbed a lot for loving it, that and hockey. It must be in my genes as my brother is the same and my dad loved being outside in all weathers too.
I don’t mind doing intervals with incline on the treadmillAgreed, though I can't run on a treadmill, I just find it very dull - wind, rain and puddles for me.
One of my favourite runs includes a long stretch along a river, with 5 or 6 big climbs, Too wet this time of year though, the riverbank is just mud.I don’t mind doing intervals with incline on the treadmill

You obviously don’t enjoy your spin bike(still deletes my emojis)I loved PE
But if it's not a lot of sprinting I'm not running! But each to their own. Gotta do what you enjoy to stick to it
I don't get time for the bike sadly.. if I get on it I want to do at least 45 minutes. Never get that much uninterrupted time when you have a kid with ASD .. I swear she waits until she hears me start a workout and then she'll want to hang out and chat. I can't say no as it is good for her to socialise and you grab those moments whenever you can.You obviously don’t enjoy your spin bike(still deletes my emojis)
