Fasting Blood Sugar this morning + yesterday's food AND physical activity

This morning's FBG: 5.3

Yesteday's food:
B: Huel black chocolate + protein powder
L: Huel black chocolate + protein powder + PB
D:Thai chicken curry and 2 fried eggs
AD: Choc protein pudding
AAD: grilled peri peri chicken breast

Yesterday's Activity:
Steps: ~5,000

Workout:

with a pair of 10 kg dumbbells, 10 times around the circuit below:

Ten rounds of the circuit below, no rest during a round until all exercises are complete, then 20 deep breaths and start again, repeat until a total of 10 rounds competed
  • Biceps curl x10
  • Overhead press x10
  • Triceps extension x10
  • Squat x10
  • Lunge x10
  • Bent over row x10
  • Standing twist and diagonal press x 10
More of a cardio workout, didn't really fatigue any individual muscle group and gave the chest a rest after yesterday.

Felt great in the 4’s, first day in nearly a year (since started meditation) that I haven’t felt sick or dizzy at any point, unfortunately I can’t drive if it’s under 5
New libre was reading 2 whole points higher than meter last night on 1st scans (usually pretty accurate at this stage)
Still no letter from consultant, but video call on 19 May

Glad you felt good in the 4s. Shame that you couldn't drive. Is that even if you don't take any sulfonylureas? Just to be on the safe side for possible hypos?

Sounds like a good workout
I could push press & squat that weight, probably wouldn’t get more than 4 or 5 rounds in though
Pb for hang power clean & press is still 24.5kg, I can power clean 25 just can’t press it, one day
Posted early as swimming in the morning & need to leave home by 6.15

Breakfast 3 frankfurters ½ advacardo
Went for walk at local nature reserve. 10000 steps.
Lunch pepperami & small snack cheese
Lentil curls.
Tea, chicken fillet wrapped in bacon with veg broccoli, sweetcorn & carrot.
Snack ½ golden delicious apple & 3 strawberries.

Done lots of walking, felt shattered but enjoyed it...

D:Naked spicy chicken burger, 2 fried eggs, broccoli stir fried with garlic
AD: Choc protein pudding
AAD: Chooc protein pudding

Added a push up with renegade row to the circuit. Felt much harder doing it 2 days in a row. Enjoyable though, got a real sweat on, felt very hungry after yesterday's exertions, so ate whenever hungry. Really glad I've given up sugar and refined carbs. Everything is nutritious and helps the body recover. Body composition looking really good. Hoping to do an MMA workout on the heavy bag in the garden this afternoon, meetings and weather permitting.

Serious case of the munchies last night, I wanted chocolate, couldn’t find my husbands secret stash of Cadbury’s fruit & nut, he was stuck on the M25, 10 miles round trip to the nearest shop, b/s too low to drive & bike tyres needed pumping up (if only my friend a couple of doors down hadn’t moved)

Lovely & sunny here going to start painting patio furniture this weekend, might even get the bbq out
