What are your blood sugars like? If they are high then unquenchable thirst will be likely
Assuming sugars are ok, then in hot weather, I find iced coffee good as a thirst quencher . I blitz a whole load of ice cubes with either this

or with a fresh brewed coffee with cream and a few drops of liquid stevia
I drink thermos full of different herb tea every day I the afternoon I have a strong coffee I never feel thirsty.I drink coffee in the morning, and herbal teas during the rest of the day. I also eat a lot of plants so don't get very thirsty.
Diabetes is a war against oxidative stress, a lot of teas, including herbal ones, contains lots of antioxidants, they would be a good choice, in my view.

Luckily I’ve got another hospital appointment tomorrow. I’ve been taking my bloods morning, dinner time & bedtime.
Nurse only asked for morning and dinner time, but I’ve wanted to see what bloods are like at bedtime so hence I’ve done that one as well.
