How many cups of coffee do you have per day?

no milk, no sweeteners of any kind, no biscuit's. about 6-7 mug's a day. Have done for years. First one when I wake up and 2nd during the next hour or so. B/Fast hour later with another. Work and 11s 2 more. Lunch 1pm ish 1 and at 6 30 ish. After this generally water.

Thanks to this Forum, I’ve been on the 16/8 regimen (low carb, high fat) for the past 3 months and happily lost 12 kg, and plan to loose 8 more kg over the next 2-3 months. I enjoy 2-3 mugs of coffee per day (between 8 am & 3 pm), with milk or cream, and no sweeteners). My coffee is my daily pleasure I can’t be without. It wasn’t east kicking off the sweeteners, but finally, I’ve done it (for 2 months now).

Congrats @LiSwati - has anyone introduced you to the inestimable pleasure of Bullet-Proof coffee?

There is a brand, but I don't mean that - I only discovered this myself a couple of weeks ago - but essentially a spoon of unsalted butter, a spoonful of coconut oil, coffee, and blend it. Took me a couple of weeks to get over the idea, but instantly loved it - tastes like a cappuccino, and leaves you full all morning - it's kind of revolutionised my fasting, because you find yourself now being able to push till 2 or 3 before breaking your fast, then you only need to have something early, or maybe you can push on till the evening... The key thing is that (kind of like your cream) your body doesn't recognise it as food, so you don't break your fast, but at the same time, no need to feel hungry..

I mean, also have a couple of coffees just for the pleasure of the coffee as well, but I've found this a really interesting addition to my fasting "toolbox".

Good start to my day, 6:30 and two cups from my coffee dripper before I think about food. Catch up on the news and then whole meal toast and black coffee #3 about 9am. I'm off my metformin now and into pre-diabetic, not saying this made it work there's a whole lot more has been done to reach my target.

1 to 3 cups per day, normally ordinary Nescafe instant with Semi-skimmed milk. I've never added sugar myself. I always have a cup after eating my cereal for breakfast when I also take my tablets. If at home I have one at lunch and sometimes one mid afternoon, depending on what time I eat lunch. I never have one after 6 and rarely have caffeinated drinks in the evening. If I'm working, I take a 750ml (3 cups) flask, but very rarely empty it.

Depending on what I'm doing during the day and the weather, I can go with only one cup a day, but normally have more.

Wow Chris, thanks. I love the idea. I will certainly try it. Although I must admit, after my 2nd morning cup of coffee with cream, or full cream milk, I don’t feel hungry. I can usually go 16-18 hours without eating. But I am going to try your Bullet-Proof Coffee, as it sounds amazing.

One. 375ml cup at wake up, with a dash of milk and an artificial sweetener.

I make a 6 cup moka pot in the morning and it's usually gone by noon (which reminds me, there's some left in the pot). Double cream and stevia, prefer to avoid milk lactose (I work on the basis there's about 12g in one cup of milk) where possible.

1-2 coffee a day swapped from full fat milk to semiskimmed and now half fill with water used to do all full milk, then add some hazlenut syrup. on hazlenut syrup side - learned lesson dont grab from costa coffee etc lol. I now bring my own syrup with me which is really nice available at tkmaxx (IF stock) bottle/brand sometimes changes always tastes the same.

sometimes mug of ginger and lemon or milky tea 1 canderel sweetener

Probably 8 to 10 but I do only have decaf
Wow! Mate... I wouldn’t have enough time in my day to drink
eight to ten cups of anything LOL.

I have but one cup—375ml, little UHT milk and stevia—with my
brekky. That's it. My "heart starter".

You said syrup ❤❤❤❤

of course :) check the carbs for tkmaxx's one <0.1 per 100ml of their sugar free syrup range u use around 20ml-30ml total doesnt matter too much, more carbs in milk (approx 5 per 100ml or something like anyhow) i did learn lesson of costacoffee 'full sugar' syrups were a very bad idea lol
