Hi, my name is Ashlee!
I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 5 (so had it for 18 years).
 
Hint: Posting in this thread does not get rid of the annoying message - as I found out to my dismay. You need to start a new thread for the computer to say yes, you're 100% done.
 
I am an Australian retired man long term T2 been from diet and exercise through tablets and up to 130 units insulin day and now back to tablets and no carb (no major carb) diet under the direction and supervision of my new Diabetes Specialist.

I am an atheist if anyone really wants to know - for me there is too much nastiness in the world for a carer deity to be active.

I have recently learned that there are a lot of misconceptions about lo-carb and lo GI for anyone who really needs to know what it is all about. For those who are just messing around with lo carb and lo GI all the nonsense around is problem but maybe not critical.

I found that out too so I just copied and pasted my info into a new thread! Called it: introducing self to get rid of annoying message! Lol!

Ah, that explains why my introduction about 50 pages ago didn't count. It's going to mean an awful lot of new threads if each of the active members starts a new thread to get rid of the annoying message

I'll refrain in the hope that a techo wizard (hint @Giverny pretty please?) can find a way to modify the 70% message before long.

hi am michelle and have very brittle type i been like that for 17 YEARS just cant seem to get it right i have a pump now but am still no better, the doctors just say we dont underdtand, its very hard hope you ok and if you want to talk am here, not that i know very much maybe you can help me i need it!
