My name is Karen. I am a 53 years young female living in the UK in South Staffordshire. I would say I'm spiritual rather than religious. I would describe myself in three words as being: funny, kind and bright. I don't have any pets. I would rather eat an apple than compare Apple to Microsoft. I like watching live sports, the only one I watch on television is the Grand Prix. I dance as a hobby. It takes a lot to get me angry. I don't have tattoos, but like them. The thing I like most about myself is my sense of humour and least is I can be a bit fickle at times. I am a type 2 diabetic on metformin and was diagnosed 6 years ago, 2 years diet alone, then metformin, dose just increased and I'm struggling to tolerate higher dose, joined forum for support and interesting topics.

I have used fake tan once,never again,besides I like being pale and interesting(with a smattering of freckles)
I have been to a lot of Spain,Turkey,Florida,France,New York but I can't choose my favourite city because I love them both so let's just say nylon.
I am loyal loving and protective
I am in love with my fiance and of course I had that first love, he is still one of my favourite people and we are still friends.
The things I like about myself, I physically like my eyes,they're a really nice blue, I like that people come to me for advice,and I like my weird little idiosyncrasies.
What I don't like about myself, my inability to say no.
Oh and I craft so the house is always messy and I don't really care!!! It's messy but it's clean
And we have four boys and two cats and a thankfully of fish.

Then left nursing and went to uni to do engineering where I found out I was dyslexic - got some help and finally started passing things....which leads me to mechanical engineering degree
