Thanks you, I have no idea really what to say to GP, am a bit sick of it all. I went through the same thing when my Thyroid stopped working so well, Took me several visits to GP before finally agreeing to a blood test amongst much sighing. I am now on 200g of thyroxine a day..
Just eaten some scambled eggs to scared to touch a carb.
I'll do a brain dump, which might help,........ or not!
Tell him how you feel - presumably tired, maybe a bit disorientated, and maybe weeing a lot?
Tell him where your bloods have been
Tell him what happened at the hospital - your bloods going up without eating (That last bit is critical, in my view)
Tell him about the weightloss without trying
Explain how rapidly the changes in bloods have been (over days/weeks/months?)
Listen to his proposals. He may just be on your case, and equally concerned.
I would want some plan for moving forward. I would not accept running at those levels, without a means of lowering them
I would want to ensure additional bloods are to be done - today, ideally, but I don't know how that works where you are, or if there is a local hospital where they do bloods
I would probably want a (urgent, if not immediate) referal to a specialist or clinic
Depending upon where you get to, I would ask if there is a community diabetic team I could call. My understanding is these are specialist peoplpe, working in the community and they may be able to take an urgent call
I don't know if any of that helps, but you need next steps, which aren't all about doing nothing new.
