Meat, fish, cheese, eggs, above ground veg, salad. Butter, cream, Greek yoghurt, nuts. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries in moderation.
For example last night I had a large sea bas fillet cooked with lemon, with garlic mushrooms and some large prawns. Tonight we are out for a meal so it will be steak and salad. Earlier in the week I had bbq good quality sausages, beef burger coleslaw and salad. I also cook dishes like chilli or curry and have them with cauliflower instead of rice. Same with pasta sauces (home made as many jars have added sugar).
But as others have said it’s best not to go too low carb too quickly if you are on some types of medication so it would be helpful to know what you take.
