Yes Ian I am. Not sure it’s intense enough for long term but as I lose weight- if my knees hold out that long lol- then I will try to do more. But yes during the day I am finally in 5’s and 6’s and even starting to get the odd 4 ( I heard angels singing lol) I have high hopes for my hba1c
Nice restful day a gentle 11500 steps and 4.9 bgs from 4 readings - just bedtime one to go which was 4.4!!How have u done today Ian?
Keep up the good work Ian. You are well motivated and it is reflecting in your numbers. It is cyclical and infectious (in a good way) watching others improve. I am looking forward to the fasting next Sunday and my heavy weights regime.Today I reached a milestone that 3 years ago I wouldn't have dreamed of trying. Managed 11000 steps in one go and for me the time taken was fine - 104 minutes. I reckon the speed was at the 100 steps per minute pace bbc http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7950003.stm. Pleased with that
Thanks @Mbaker. I have really gained benefit and inspiration from our virtual conversations and challenging myself - pushing the boundaries if you will. I hope to join the fast again and I hope your weights regime goes well. Am I right that an injury has kept you away from that for a while? @johnpol the main takeaway I get from your post is the determination to have "agency" and control in this journey. The actual weights and reps will increase over time but the recurring theme here is inch by inch, marginal gains. To make those gains you need motivation and you have it so bravoKeep up the good work Ian. You are well motivated and it is reflecting in your numbers.
