Well I've finally plucked up enough courage to post a couple of pics - one taken in 2017 at my heaviest and the other taken yesterday. View attachment 27268
Hi @Dajana, yes I would be happy to get involved with your press office. Always keen to promote the low carb approach to diabetes. Just send me a PM with what you need. CarolineHi @caroline_92 I hope you're well! We have a press team that we work closely with to help raise the profile of diabetes, expel myths and raise awareness - would you mind if I forward your details onto them? I think you would be an amazing case study!
If you are interested, please could you give me your email address and phone number to pass onto our team who will then be in touch.
Kind regards,
Dajana

Other forum members have found this too, sort of including me! I was on steroid eye drops for many years and was told one (good!) side efect was be that they might help prevent my lifelong hayfever. I was diagnosed as T2 and started low carbing over four years ago - a year or so before I was able to stop using the drops, but between them they've kept me hayfever free for the past 16 years. Thanks @Guzzler! I forgot to put about the other 'success' that has happened after changing to low carb - my chronic hayfever which I usually suffer from very badly each June - and have done so for nearly 30 years - is MUCH better this year, not gone, but much improved. I'm pretty sure it's due to me cutting out wheat.
What happened to Shintaro ?That is some achievement and although I'm not usually given to handing out written praise like confetti, that is a simply sensational outcome
Just staggering
