Sporty Forty.e t

4hours is nothing
That's a good start. Jaw workout. Possibly a brain work out too, as it must be too, too difficult to think about 4 hours worth of moaning.

Well done!

I was taking it easy today. I usually moan for 12 hours.

we should start another forum Pipp

OK, @this is too difficult but Only if you agree to 40 mins of real exercise a day
What would you call it?
'Pre-post-diabetic /cured/ T2s who nobody believes in or thinks we tell lies, or are being lied to by docs who are in a conspiracy with pharmaceutical companies and other T2 people who want us to be like them, so don't want us to exercise so we get fatter and keep being insulin resistant'
That's my suggestion. Or do you think it needs to be a longer title than that?

Hon

Hon I'm diabetic.

I think you are too
Nah, not long enough. Better get exercising then. 40 mins real exercise a day.
But then perhaps my title aint so bad after all, so will be keeping to topic on this thread from now on.
Thanks for your opinion on my status , though.

Right - I've been very quiet on this thread, I have been mad busy but honestly, each day I have tried to master my sparkly pink hula hoop and STILL can't get more than a couple of wobbly turns before it hits my ankles

It's been fun though, and provides much entertainment for the cats :D
I will not give up ..... I will not be defeated !

How about adding a sparkly pink skipping rope to the routine? (Although the cats may have to duck for that one!):)

Had a busy week work wise, so haven't had too much time to do anything terribly vigorous, but I have done at least 40mins a day, even if it's walking the dogs twice a day. I have been out running this week, but I will try to do a proper workout this evening - do a Cindy Crawford whole body thing. I ache like the devil the day after, but it has to be done.:dead:
Well done folks for keeping up the exercise! Even those on holiday - that's dedication!:joyful:

..did my usual lunchtime walk yesterday, 50 mins... may be a dodging around between the raindrops one today, or will settle for indoor exercise when I get back from work....Pipp could you send me one of those invisible hula hoops, haven't seen one before....;)

....found a packet of pom bear crisps my grandaughter left here, couldn't resist them last night, they'd been sitting there for days laughing at me :wideyed: ...hardly raised my bs at all [thumbs up smiley] :hungry:

Managed a 75 minute walk yesterday in the afternoon heat and humidity - not too strenuous though!

Not much expected today unless I have time to kill in the airport later before the flight back tonight.

Managed 20 minus on bike yesterday before setting off... Though the half hour spent immediately before departure looking for and not finding junior's wallet was a nice cardio work out in its own right.
Today I am in Durham avoiding the big meet.. Too hot on field so brisk walk up into town for 15 minutes then going to wander round shops in a bit after a relaxing coffee.. The bands and drunks seem to have gone.

hope you had a good time in Durham and a relaxing coffee. We were up by the bus station and there were bands still marching past at 4 o'clock. I remember the first time I was in Durham when the gala was on and was shocked at how many drunks there were...saw a few today too. We could have met for a coffee...maybe next time!

My exercise for today was also walking in and out of Durham - no dog walking today as I was teaching at 9.30.
