Why do I want chocolate when I am trying to be good. Trying to get my glucose level down . I feel bad about this .

Why don’t you try a high percentage dark chocolate? I initially wasn’t keen but start at say 70% and gradually move higher. Just one or two squares, allow them to melt on your tongue rather than chewing it. I also order sugar free chocolate from Deliciously Guilt Free. Lots of flavours, not all dark.

Edit to add link.

I get this feeling about some things often flap jacks some time I give in but then see how bad it has made sugar levels. Then feel guilty for several days. I think. was it worth it so hold on to that feeling when I next pass it in shop I think of that guilt and it is easier
In fact now all the Christmas stuff is there it like it is a torture chamber

I used to love chocolate almonds but now that I am reasonaly used to normal blood sugars I find that they have lost much of their attraction because I just feel ill if I eat more than a very few. I have learnt to adore 95% dark chocolate though....
