Why do I want chocolate when I am trying to be good. Trying to get my glucose level down . I feel bad about this .
I used to love chocolate almonds but now that I am reasonaly used to normal blood sugars I find that they have lost much of their attraction because I just feel ill if I eat more than a very few. I have learnt to adore 95% dark chocolate though....In fact now all the Christmas stuff is there it like it is a torture chamber
I love chocolate too @redheadpen . I really love chocolate, so much so, I refuse to give it up. If I let myself do it, I could eat an entire bar of Cadbury’s milk chocolate. I don’t, but I do allow myself two squares of Cadbury milk chocolate in the morning with a cup of tea. It’s my one treat. I do however, have reasonable control of my blood sugars with meds and exercise. I’m not a fan of dark chocolate as I find it too bitter, but what I do with dark chocolate is I make a chocolate moose with it.Why do I want chocolate when I am trying to be good. Always a bit disappointing when you don't get what you think you earned. What were the actual figures?I just had my result back from blood test. Really disappointed thought it would off gone down. It gone up. Had no sweet or any high sugar. Been on low carb for months now. What is going on. Why diabetes is age related! Plus taking insulin injection.
