T2s: What was your fasting BG this morning, and what did you eat yesterday?

    Wednesday June 19
    FBG at 0640 was 5.3 (6 hours fast), food yesterday was;

    Breakfast: blueberries and honey nut cheerios w/2% milk, 250 mg metformin, black tea
    Lunch: 1 chunk of brie cheese, 5 scoops (corn flour type) of salsa, black tea
    Dinner: Boston Pizza individual thin crust "Royale" pizza, pint of Rickards Red, 250 mg metformin
    Snack: 2 shots of tequila w/tap water, handful of blueberries.

    Temp here at 0640 +8C and raining cats and dogs, looks like an all day event. May have to postpone engine testing until tomorrow, will do more research on engine pre-oiler technology and keep warm. Got the new hydraulic tensioners yesterday, they surprisingly (to me) were made in Italy...

    FBG at 0820 was 5.0 (8 hours fast), food yesterday was;

    Breakfast: honey nut cheerios w/2% milk, black tea, 250 mg metformin
    Lunch: chunk of salami, brie cheese, handful of blueberries, black tea
    Dinner: BBQ steak, snap peas (raw), green salad w/Kraft Catalina dressing, glass of red wine, 250 mg metformin
    Snack: 5 Tostitos "scoops" w/salsa sauce, 2 small glasses of sake

    Temp here at 0840 was 8C, skies cloudy and more rain predicted. Had daughter #2's air conditioning compressor replaced yesterday and all OK now, heading out to test engine oil pressure and hydraulic timing chain tensioners operation (and likely replacement), should be an interesting day.

    FBG at 0800 was 5.7 (5 hours fast), food yesterday was;

    Breakfast: none, zero, nada, black tea, 250 mg metformin
    Lunch: slice of ham, hard boiled egg, slice of processed cheese, black tea
    Dinner: bowl of Mrs. Campbell's vegetable beef soup, chunk of brie cheese, green salad w/Kraft Catalina dressing, 5 "scoops" with salsa, black tea, 250 mg metformin
    Snack: 2 small glasses sake
    Early morning snack: 2 tablespoons Breyer's butterscotch ice cream

    Temp here at 0820 12C and skies are cloudy, looks like another wet day. Woke up at about 0300 and succumbed to temptation, had 2 tablespoons of ice cream, FBG reflected that choice, just couldn't help myself but did stop at the second spoonful. New tensioners in engine, timing chains now tight, replaced sticking toilet fill valve and picking up oil pressure gauge for further engine testing next Tuesday. Wedding Anniversary coming up, best not forget that...

    Heaviest carb meal for a while, will do extra test later if I remember.

    Temp here at 0850 was 12C, skies clear and we are drying out after our torrential rains. Readying Land Rover for trailer transport to friend's shop 85 miles from here, another busy day...

    Lunch: 2 slices black forest ham, pickled beets, black tea
    Dinner: Shrimp baked in crushed garlic and butter, chicken drumsticks roasted in BBQ sauce, boiled cauliflower, green salad w/Kraft balsamic vinegar dressing, red wine, forgot my metformin
    Snack: no snack today, just a glass of delicious tap water

    Temp here at 0810 was 11C and skies are clear with a light wind. Resting today, may just read a book...
