I wasn't too impressed when he was appointed, but he does have the experience to grind out some results (sometimes) and it's what the board needed to underpin their campaign to move to the Olympic site. I do miss the old West Ham style though, even though it rarely brought much success - the fans clearly don't like him that much - or rather they don't like his style - and he may find it difficult to survive another nailbiting season if things go wrong.
Anyway, kick off beckons ...
He likes to play dirty and get lots of yellow cards, is that a fair assessment? That's what he was like at Bolton. (I know..pot...kettle...Leeds fan)
