Blast ..... thank you
Give your levothyroxine a month to kick in and then you should see a difference hun. It's a great tablet.
Looks like I'm going through the change so mine is all over the place.
You will be fine. That natural tablet is the best you can get for settling your thyroid down.
Underactive thyroid = sleep a lot
Overactive thyroid = disturbed sleep (wide awake at silly o'clock)
Any tablet needs time to settle in so give it a month. ;)

Unkind people, failure to take personal responsibility.
Can't see you. Which of the dogs are you sharing with?

Well, I don't like to share, so mine's a bespoke one just for idiots like me:)

Thank god no diabetes for you. I'm delighted for you. ♡♥♡

Ron has an on-going problem now. The best he can achieve for himself is hood pain relief til he sees specialist, who knows a hell of a lot more than us.
We are here for support and encouragement. Especially on bad days.
My weight loss is desperate. I'm only losing a lb a week. It's like pulling teeth, veryvery slowly. Ha ha.
I feel like just ignoring the scales and hoping for the best as a watched pot never boils. Ha ha.
My emotions are all over the place lately. Awaiting blood test results for pcos being back. I know it is as spotty and hairier than normal. Specialist on the 27th had better try me again on metformin otherwise I will have to carry a bag on my head. Ha ha

Aww, be kind to yourself Vicky. If you have started an early 'change' your weight, moods, emotions and hormones will be all over the place and could well account for many of the symptoms you're experiencing. Do something nice for yourself today. Sending big, warm, sympathetic hugs xxx

So 6.8 FBG and now 8.7 post 30 minute swim :( today will be all about LCHF, drinking lots of water and looking after myself. Need to get back on track - remembering it is just 2 weeks off meds, but that won't continue unless I'm a good controlled diabetic (like I know I can be ...)

As they say about children I think I am overtired :D:D

As for weight hes slowly loosing it now . Not as fast as before but I put that down to not being as mobile . He doesn't walk any more he waddles especially when hes got slippers on . Many a time hes lost his balance but regained it by flapping his arms or had be grab hold of him . His neurology appointment cant come quick enough, it seems like hes been waiting ages.

Wish me luck ladies, I am going in!

Where?

Later this morning I shall attempt the momentous task of painting my toe nails - not been done for many a year .... lush deep turquoise varnish beckons :woot:
Ooh, my favourite colour!

Rons weight has slowed down to. Hes a bit unsteady on his feet when he wears slippers but he's got me by his side . Last thing he needs is to fall and hit his head and do more damaged to his eyes.

Often have severe pain with an arthritic knee (result of motor cycle accident when I was 22) - it's like meniscus? what meniscus? Slap on that gel and put your leg up in front of the TV and get your other half to wait on you. I find ice packs very helpful. I have ones I put in the freezer and some Koolpaks (I always carry one in my bag) Try and get the swelling down before doing too much and take care of it. It's a nasty injury which can really throw out your back etc. I have even had to resort to crutches on occasion (I have some very cool red and black ninja ones) - I know that seems a bit dramatic for you to use crutches but it will stop you overcompensating for your injured knee and help your back.

You have my heartfelt sympathy, ouch ouch ouch - oh yes, put a pillow or cushion between your knees when you are in bed.

Hope you feel better in the morning.

P
I also find crutches help a couple of years after my meniscus injury.

Oh, you're in the empty one down the garden. That's why I didn't see you. All snuggled down I the stored bedding. Mind when you wake in a morning. The rains of earlier in the year flooded that run to about 3" but you'll be ok inside

Just watching a sparrow (robin) or some other small bird with a huge beakful of downy doghair. It dropped half so hopped back down then flew up into the tree with it. Momentarily forgot my headache I was going to have a moan about. 90% sure it's the weather (oppressive, heavy, despite being cool) but other options it's my BP dropping (new pills last week) pregabalin but I've been on it well over a month now or sinuses.....

Ooh, don't weigh more than once a week....fluctuations through the day is totally body functions...input, output of both food and drink....
OP (sorry, forgot already who said it) said losing 1lb per week .... That's fantastic. Steady regular loss is perfect and less likely to be regained and it shows your diet control is good.
